  Very very bad

  Unfriendly staff, the room was dirty and when we ask for cleaning they are busy. Managers are super incompetent! For this price choose another place! Food was expensive and nothing special. Every day we have a problem with something. This is not good idea if you go for holidays

  Great hotel, just ashame about the pool

  Me my wife and 7 year old daughter spent the week here 1st week of September, great hotel lovely rooms and pleasant staff even the cleaners spoke ever time we saw them. Breakfast wasnt upto much but as it's that cheap to eat out it wasnt a problem. Very close to the beach, which is great and sea is warm. Theres a supermarket, Costa,off licence, shop right outside. The little train you can get to either sunny beach or the old town is just around the corner or the bus on the main road. We walked into sunny beach most days which isn't that far really. Only 1 bad point about the hotel is the pool is half shaded all day then by about 3 it all is which is ashame really. We was lucky enough to get the 3 loungers by the park area most days which was in the sun most of the day.

  not 5 star !!

  We stayed on 6th floor over looking pool, also sea view. TBH the room was very nice. Had a kitchen, separate bedroom, was clean, although there were quite a few stains on the furniture and some bad stains on the net curtains, and curtains which were hanging off in places. The bed was large and very comfortable.we had a large balcony which both rooms led out to. The reception staff were also nice in our experience, would say hello and smile. Bad points. The pool was ice cold !! Cant have been heated while we were there.also almost completely in the shade by 3pm.the whole area to us was a depressing place to sit. Pool is surrouded by the hotel building on 3 sides which quite tall and dark brown. Like sitting in the middle of alcatraze prison!!. Tried to but a coffee from pool bar, the girl came back with a small cardboard cup 1/3 full if that!! That was it!! 4 lev, or £2 approx. Very un-inviting, cold,dark,very quite and depressing area all together!!! Hardly surprising the pool was nearly always empty. Also you were not allowed to take in food or drink from outside, stuck with the pity-full excuse for pool bar. as a result we did,nt spend our time or money there. There,s a costa just out side with proper service and drinks. Also the beach bar on kiki beach 5 minutes walk away was cheap and very good value. The breakfast was also very poor. Served from 07.30 - 10.00 supposedly, we would go down 09.00 to 09.30am, but very frequently there was very little left, what was there was mostly cold,so when put on cold plates was awful. Orange juice was just slightly coloured diluted water, and the other juice ran out after a couple of days, was never refilled. The restaraunt staff were uninterested and abrasive. We conplained to reception, and we were not the only ones. Went with out after a while, and had decent breakfast elsewhere!! We had one meal in the evening there, which actully was very nice, but the empty restaraunt and atitude of the waiter in particular, made it not particularly enjoyable. All in all, we would return to sunny beach, BUT CERTAINLY WILL NOT be staying at this hotel again. 3-4 star at very best, despite the 5 stars mounted on front of hotel !!!!

  Honeymooning at the Galeon Residence &Spa

  The hotel is immaculately clean, spotless spacious rooms with cooking facilities, maid service everyday, helpful pleasant staff , the spa was available everyday with daily reduced rates for quests for massages etc , the only downside of this hotel is the pool which is shaded over by 3 pm and the pool is really cold and the poolside bar is very small for the size of hotel and no entertainment in the hotel at night if you didnt want to go out , the hotel restaurant is good and serves a good selection menu , but the breakfast is passable food was always lukewarm or cold The location of this hotel was perfect for us as I dont like the business of sunny beach just jump on the shuttle trains for 4 lev to nessebar or sunny beach and the beach is only a short walk away over the dunes via boardwalk, the beach has a lovely bar/ restaurant which is very reasonably priced I throughly enjoyed my week at the Galeon Residence and would definitely recommend it , were thinking of bringing the family and grandkids next year

  Modern, clean, lovely hotel

  Stayed here last Summer for 10 nights with friend, I had passed it many times in previous years and always liked the look of it so when we got a great deal via Jet2 we signed right up First impressions on arrival, spotless, chic reception and bar area check in was quick and efficient and Receptionist lovely, we were shown to our room by a lovely porter, Room was lovely and clean but we were a bit shocked at the sleeping arrangements, we asked for a twin, we got a double with an overhead sleeper, my friend took one for the team and settled on the over head, please note this if u are not up for climbing ladders to bed, that aside we thought the room was fab small kitchenette area had a hob, fridge with ice box and kettle, all crockery and cutlery supplied, a lovely bottle of rose also greeted us! Pool area lovely and big, plenty of sun beds and a wee play area for littlies We were on a bed and breakfast package so breakfast was ok, definitely found something every day, I enjoyed the french toast with bacon and there was plenty of pastries and fruit, more continental style, always a queue for toaster but didn't have to wait long We had a late lunch in the restaurant one day, Shared pizza and both had yummy cake after, highly recommend the chefs kiss (coconut cake) Hotel is closer to Nessebar than main resort but had plenty of places to explore, not too far from beach either. All in all I'd stay again
