Lovely placeAndreas and the team made you very welcome. Nice apartment quiet lovely gardens. Pool excellent you can get reasonably priced food and drinks all day at their bar. Plenty of shade if you want to sit under the canopy or lots of sunbeds if you want. 5 minutes walk to town and beach. Lots of bars and restaurants. Local bus runs regularly into Corfu town.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.Breakfast served was good and plentiful. Approach to the studios was on a slight hill but easy access to beach which was situated on a road . Water clear and plerasant to swim in. Enjoyable week with nice meals in nearbye restaurants.

Gorgeous placeWe stay here on a regular basis purely because the gardens are beautiful, the rooms are nice, the views are idyllic, the family running it are so friendly and professional at the same time. The pool and bar are inviting and well run, the breakfast buffet is amazing and the bar snacks are tasty. I can't say enough complimentary things about this place, long may we be able to visit this lovely place and island!

Amazing HolidayI research resorts and hotels for several weeks before finally deciding, which to book. I looked at a lot of resorts on Corfu and even more hotels, I kept coming back to Gina Studios. We booked in September 2019, for August 2020 so it was before Coronavirus hit the world. We were able to fly into Corfu for our 11 days holiday, arriving early evening. Andreas had organised a taxi to collect us from the airport for 30 Euros. We arrived at The Barracuda Bar during a thunderstorm and Andreas met us, so we could check in. Gina Studios is a few metres away from The Barracuda Bar, up a hill - we were met with beautiful lush green grounds and trees. We were allocated Studio 8, ground floor with a double bed, 2 single beds, small kitchenette (with full oven and fridge/freezer), plenty of storage and a lovely shower room. We had a patio, complete with a table and four chairs - a view of the lush grounds and due to the higher level, sea views. The Barracuda Bar is owned by Andreas and his wife, and you can use the pool as part of your stay and buy smacks and drinks from the bar. Andreas and his wife also own the Elli-Marna Studios and Apartments, which is adjacent to The Barracuda Bar, so guests staying here can also use the pool. Andreas had procedures in place regarding cleaning of the rooms, pool/bar area to keep guests and staff safe from Coronavirus and the sun beds by the pool are spaced out and sanitised after use. We absolutely enjoyed our time at Gina Studios, Andreas and his family were friendly, polite and helpful. We hired a car from Value Plus near the airport for 6 days, and explored the island and other resorts. Our opinion is that we chose Benitses, the better resort - Ipsos on the North-Eastern part of the Island was nice and Roda looked nice too. Sidari on the North-West has a lovely beach but is full of tavernas offering British food and drinks - it's not an unpleasant place - but I want Greek, British I can have any time at home! Avoid Kavos - we only went out of curiosity - it truly is a dump! Run down, nothing about it is Greek apart from the odd local! We didn't bother stopping. I actually cringed and felt embarrassed about being British. Benitses has a small pebbly beach (bring aqua shoes) and there are plenty of tavernas offering Greek food, I tried a Greek dish every night of our stay, in a different restaurant. Mr Spiros, Mythos, Neon, Lorus, Zorbas are all excellent and if you like Chinese there is the Flower Garden restaurant. There are several small local supermarkets nearby, a bus stop by the centre of the town where you can buy bus tickets to Corfu Town (No. 6), a Doctor's surgery, pharmacy and several shops selling mainly tourist merchandise. In order to travel by bus, you need to travel to Corfu Town, and pick up connecting buses to other parts of the Island. The No. 6 route runs from Corfu Town to Benitses and back again. The old part of Corfu Town is so pretty, cobbled streets, the Liston (arched stone colonnades opposite the Spianada) and the Old Fort. I can recommend visiting Kanoni - the Panagia Vlacherna Church and views to Mouse Island (you can catch a boat for 2.50 Euros) and as it's so close to the runway you can watch the aircraft land/take off. Paleokastritsa is beautiful, the drive to reach it takes you up in the hills with stunning views. We also went on a boat trip with Ionian Cruises (bookable in Benitses) to the Greek mainland Syvota. Again a very pretty, clean village with lots of tavernas and a small amount of tourist shops. If shopping is your thing, then you'd need to go to Corfu Town for anything more than tourist shops (although there are still plenty of those too!). Be aware of tourist shops and buying what may appear to be designer clothing, footwear, sunglasses and perfume - it's fake. Bringing it back into the UK is illegal, and you will get it confiscated by border officials if you are stopped and searched and can't provide receipts to prove it's authentic. Tip: Mosquitos are a pain in the rear, take a maximum strength insect repellent and bite cream! Wasps are another pain - burn ground coffee to keep them at bay! In all we had an amazing holiday, and it was made better by the Greek people we met along the way and Andreas and his family for such a wonderful stay at Gina Studios.
