  A place of freedom, tranquility and beauty

  Located outside of Rheine (10 km, 15 minutes) the Golf Hotel Rheine Mesum offers 20 rooms in a new building, attached to the central golf club building. The rooms are very modern, stylish indoor furnishings, high end bathroom with fluffy towels and very comfortable beds. We slept extremely well. Of course a big plus is the nature surrounding, with rabbits on the golf court, lots of green, no noise at all and clean air. Upon arrival we had coffee on the terrace of the golf club. The club restaurant offers a variety of salads, meat, pasta and drinks. You look straight on the golf course while sitting in the sun. Breakfast was included, the variety is good, but limited as of the number of guests/rooms. However the quality of all products was very good, offering the best products of different choices, again we enjoyed the patio and the hospitality of all staff. They really made you feel home, never pushed, always giving the feeling of relaxation. All in all - if we ever need to go back to this area - we would certainly stay there again, we highly enjoyed room, breakfast, tranquility and hospitality of this place.

  Again with pleasure

  Second time there we can only confirm our first review. Excellent value for money, exceptional clean and stylish room in beautiful surrounding. Bathroom with spacy shower and modern fitting. Pleasure to look over the golf course from the terrace. Hotel and restaurant offer friendly service. We will pop in again whenever we return to this region.

  Comfortable and Welcoming

  My Family (my parents, teenage brothers and I) stayed here for a weekend, when we were in Germany for concert. We had three rooms, one for my parents, one for the boys and one for myself and each of the the rooms was large, trendy, clean and comfortable. The furniture was modern and the bathroom had a spa shower. My room had lovely huge windows (great view) and heavy blackout curtains, various lighting options and a TV. Breakfast (and dinners) were classic and delicious; we were spoiled for choice, from continental cheeses and meat topping for the rolls, to freshly cooked scrambled eggs and bacon. The only thing I felt was missing was a mini fridge in the room. I've gotten really accustomed to having one in a hotel to keep my snacks and drinks cold, so its worth mentioning. Now, I'm not a golfer so I can't review that at all I'm afraid, but if you're looking for hidden wee gem, away from the hustle and bustle of the major cities, this is definitely for you.

  Perfect!

  It was a very nice stay. Friendly staff, neat and clean hotel and a comfortable room. The breakfast was good. We will certainly come back, maybe to learn to play golf. In the area was a lot of nature. In a place called Ochtrup was a Outlet centre. It wasn't very big but enough for to spend the afternoon. The city Rheine was a bit old fashioned.

  Clean and comfortable rooms

  WOW - what a hidden gem! We stayed with our adult children for a few days and couldnt have been more pleased. The daily breakfast bar is the best I have ever experienced - very fresh with many healthy options available. Staff is extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had the best rooms available. Rooms are super clean with very comfortable beds. Beautiful country setting with complete quiet at night.
