  fantastic hotel in Ganzhou

  No doubts this is currently the best hotel in Ganzhou. Ganzhou is the second biggest city in Jiangxi province, lots of construction going on, and no doubt this is the best hotel in town. Also very convenient the hotel is directly linked to RAINBOW shopping mall, (actually it looks like a INDITEX owned mall) because ZARA, BERSHKA, OYSHO, and MASSIMO DUTTI shops, also a convenient WATSONS shop, PIZZA HUT and KFC. Nice views to the river at night, like many chinese cities Ganzhou looks more nice at night than during the day. The hotel is almost brand new, rooms are well decorated, big and very comfortable, mattress are top notch, and in suites there is a nice living room. Appointed with everything you need, staff is very polite and a significant part can speak english, top mention for HUGO at the Elysee restaurant who is running the place brilliantly, with an absolute perfect english, the guy is helpful, nice and bring some personal touches, he can be employed in any top 5 starts hotel anywhere in the world. Buffet at Elysee was good, bkfst was ok (as many places in China bread was just to forget). But i will keep this stay as a very good one, due the low expectations to find a nice hotel in a remote place like Ganzhou.

  Good Hotel for overseas traveller

  Stayed in this Hotel for one night. The room allotted to us was on the 27th Floor, with a very good view of the city and the lake. The Hotel location is excellent. The room itself is small compared to many other similar Hotels especially when considering that Ganzhou is a relatively small city by Chinese standards. However the room amenities were Top Notch. Comfortable bed, Clean bathroom . The staff speaks manageable English and the check in and check-out process were smooth.The breakfast is served for 6:30 onward and a has a very competent selection of western and local dishes. Overall highly recommended.

  nice pleasant hotel

  This is a clean and pleasant hotel. The beds are comfortable and the rooms well appointed. The staff was attentive and the breakfast offered many choices. The hotel is immediately adjacent to a western style shopping mall.

  Pleasantly surprised

  A local 5 Star hotel which would correspond to a 3/4 Star DoubleTree standard. The rooms, bath, beds, amenities and furnishings are 5 stars. Just that the staff's level of English is rather poor but then again this is Ganzhou. English TV channel selection is pretty poor. Breakfast buffet is pretty good with western and Chinese breakfast selection and quite a good selection of pastries. Buffet dinner is also pretty good with Japanese and grill selections added to the breakfast buffet. Located next to a shopping center (which I had no time to explore) and also a bridge linking to the old part o town. Quite a nice walk across the bridge (30 mins or so from the hotel) to the old part of town.

  Great value, great for travellers

  Unbelievable value, for the standard of rooms and amenities. Great for overseas travelers as the staff have many languages and are very friendly and efficient. If you are on business in the area I would recommend. There are few interesting places to see in Ganzhou as well! My second stay,
