  Continúa a un muy alto nivel

  Conocí este hotel hace en 1993, cuando hice prácticas en él, en todos los departementos, especialmente cocina. Ya entoces tenía un muy alto nivel. 19 años después lo he vuelto a visitar y estoy gratamente sorprendido del nivel que ha mantenido, mejor aún, ha aumentado!. Es un pequeñito hotel lleno de grandes detalles cuidados. Esa alejado de la ciudad, con lo que precisas coches. Buen lugar para celegrar reuniones de trabajo, presentaciones, congresos, etc.

  Quiet hotel with good service

  Stayed there 4 nights during a business meeting. The rooms were charming and very clean. The morning breakfast buffet was very good with an ample amount of variety including fresh juices and the biggest blackberries I have ever seen. Staff were very courteous and service was first class. The hotel is in the middle of acres of farmland so insects seemed to be ever present but not distracting. The only negative was the pillows. I had 4 on my bed but were so soft they all compacted down to 6".

  Nice service and environment

  The hotel is located in a very quite place with easy (outdoor) parking outside the hotel. The restaurant is good and service prompt. The courtyard is beautiful and relaxing. The room though was too hot and no AC or fans were available. There was no refridgerator either.

  Terrible NOT FAKE

  Charged me for four nights when I only stayed 2 (two) for some internal policy reason. Avoid if you dont like to be ripped off Hotel Admin - please do not contact me or provide and justification. Bbbbbbbbbbbbb

  Unethical, fraudulent, unprofessional, and illegal business conduct

  Warning to all potential wedding couples, or Brautpaar: this place violated our contract terms, along with very poor communication, and confusion among their own staff for how it happened. We are still trying to get our deposit refund back, and it has been almost 3 weeks since Grenzhof confirmed in writing that we would receive it. According to our German attorney, Grenzhof violated EU and German laws in multiple ways and we are prepared to report them to the European Commission and German Consumer Groups for investigation. See the details below. November 11, 2018 - Wedding contract signed with Tabea [--] for them to host our wedding. Deposit of 500 EUR wired to their account immediately. June 5, 2019 - We called Grenzhof to set up a meeting with the manager so that we could discuss wedding logistics. WE initiated the contact. June 6, 2019 - My fiance and I met with owner/manager Frau [--] to discuss the timeline for when things should be done. At this point she made NO mention of any price changes or contract changes, but we noticed she circled a few things on paper. June 8, 2019 - Received new contract in the mail from Nicole [--]. They INCREASED prices without notification, REMOVED agreed services in the contract. We called asking for explanation, Frau [--] said she was only told to send new contract by Frau [--] and did not know what was actually happening. She said Frau [--] claimed that our meeting was to discuss contract changes, which was simply not true. Frau [--] would have Frau [--], the original contract signer, contact us. June 12, 2019 - Spoke with Frau [--]. She said, "This is all new to her, said she would contact Frau [--] [owner] to figure it out". Could not explain to us what happened. June 17, 2019 - Frau [--] forwards us some notes they took in September 2018 contract details, stating they made pricing mistakes in our contract and didn't notice until now, so they sent us a new one. Grenzhof made the mistake in a signed contract, not us. It was a one-sided decision to void the contract. No apologies, or explanation for why agreed services were removed. This is a LEGAL, BINDING contract and we should have been given the option to cancel. Again, we asked if we can speak to Frau [--] to at least renegotiate on friendly terms regarding the services and we were ok with the updated pricing June 25, 2019 - Still no word from Frau [--]. She has since refused to speak to us in person and uses her staff to communicate with us. Finally we call to cancel and asked for our deposit back. Which they agreed to in writing confirmation. July 1, 2019 - Still no refund. Called again, which they said their accountant only processes refunds twice a month but would happen "soon". July 11th, 2019 - Still no refund. We send an email to ask for an update, which they ignore and do not reply to. July 12th, 2019 - Finally we call again, impatiently now, as this money is in our opinion considered fraudulently withheld and they are keeping it illegally. Frau [--] tells us she does not know why, has no explanation and no update. Very unfortunate as the location is beautiful and we were so excited initially to have our wedding there. They have wasted a lot of our time and we still have no results from them.
