Beautiful "with conditions"!We stayed at the Henley Manor for a week during July. The facility is beautiful with special attention paid to the quality of the fixtures, the furniture and aesthetic appeal. Unfortunately, the same attention has not been paid to cleanliness and maintenance. At first glance we were overjoyed at the facility, but on closer inspection we were awed that they would let the building be rented in this condition. The kitchen faucet is about to break off the counter. Several of the towel holders and toilet tissue holders are falling or have fallen off of the walls. We found it necessary to contact Jeff due to the fact that one of our keys would not work. When he stopped by we commented on the fact that our toilet had reminders of the last visitors and the lack of cleanliness of the entire place. Unfortunately, he didn't find it necessary to send anyone to do any further upkeep to the facility. During our stay we found it necessary to call once again when the main floor toilets in both units decided to run out on to the floor. I received a call from a plumber shortly after to ask questions and get directions. He had the problem taken care of in no time, but we didn't receive a visit or call from the caretaker and so we were left to clean the mess on the floor with our bathroom towels and just live with any remaining germs as best we could. I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast, because we received none. I can't comment on the quality of the daily maid service because we received no service either. A little confused on the whole B & B theory, but needless to say we won't be staying here in the future. Which is a shame because the facility itself is a gorgeous place.

to filthy to stayI booked the "Cleopatra" room thinking it would be fun to stay in an elegant place after going to the Shakespeare Festival. Wish I would have checked tripadvisor for reviews instead of the other false reviews... The place is oddly situated in the midst of two busy roadways and there are no grounds; once you arrive, you really can't leave your room--there's nowhere to go. The place looks like it was once a poorly designed home that was also cheaply built. It's a bit creepy, too. Once in our room, I noticed that the toilet had not been cleaned (I'll not go into detail, here). The tub was dirty, the carpet was stained--especially all around the bed with what appeared to have once been red wine. The dust and dirt was an eighth of an inch thick in the carved headboard. The sheets had brown stains. When I realized that I didn't feel safe taking my shoes off or even sitting down in the room, we knew we had to leave and gladly pay for another night's lodging anywhere but there. Don't let a random good review fool you on this one---stay away from this one.

Dirty and dishonestStayed at Henley Manor in October 2009. Pictures of this place make it look very nice, but when you arrive, you'd better not take your shoes off. Ever. The floors are filthy. Breakfast was okay at best. Biggest issue came when we accidentally left a case of about 30 DVD's in our room. We realized it right after we had dropped the keys off in the drop box. Tried calling the management, but received no answer. Had to leave town before getting a response. Finally we did get a call back, and they confirmed they had found our property and would mail it to us. I offered to pay for shipping, and was told they'd get back to me on that, but then I never heard from them again and never received our stuff. Tried calling repeatedly to inquire about our items, but always got voicemail. Left multiple messages, and none were returned. Guess they wanted to keep our case of DVD's. Beware: stay anywhere but here!

Adorable! Want to create vacations just so we can come!!!Arrived yesterday for our five days of Shakespeare Festival and couldn't be happier. It's been remodeled to combine aTtutor/Venetian style and it's adorable! I love the Shakespearean references throughout. Clean, amply supplied with linens and cleaning supplies and equipment, new appliances, comfortable furnishings, cute, cute, cute!!! Design is open and spacious so you feel there's plenty of room, yet also has cozy nooks for those who want to read. Perfect for a family get together, writer's retreat, or traveling buddies. Sure hope I make it back to enjoy again!

Excellent vacation rentalOur family of three stayed last summer visiting for the Utah Shakespeare Festival. We booked through AirBnB and the process was smooth. Our side of the townhouse was clean, comfortable, and very nice for our stay. It was a little warm upstairs. There's board games and a great kitchen to save on dining out costs. In total there's sleeping space for 10 people.
