  Para mi gusto no esta bien aunque lo intentan

  SE haya muy alejado de Ohrid, hay que tener medio de transporte para desplazarte, esta en medio de la nada. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y sin ningun detalle. Hay una arboleda enfrente que no deja ver el lago. El servicio es esmerado pero no bueno. La calidad del desayuno y cena mejorable

  Look for better, shouldn't be hard

  The Belvedere is a good drive out of the town of Ohrid, so you will need a car. As you walk towards the reception, you sense you're entering an antique shop, the brick-a-brack-style one. The elevator takes you up to the dark corridors with old, dirty red carpet not an encouraging start. We were allocated to room 206, which was generously large, with a nice balcony overlooking the road and Lake Ohrid. The room has that old, tired look with faded red carpet and saggy twin beds. There is open Wifi throughout the hotel. Our bathroom was also a bit depressing, with brown & beige tiles, plastic flowers and a plastic box shower (I hate them). Breakfast was most disappointing : pre-cooked stuff, kept warm in bain-marie, watery lemonade pretending to be juice and a large jug of bad filter coffee. The Belvedere is old, faded glory, mainly catering to large bus-tour groups offering budget holidays (who you have to fight on the breakfast buffet). It may have been OK 30 years ago under Tito, but is now is well overdue for a major overhaul. Lake Ohrid would be a beautiful summer destination, but I recommend staying elsewhere until some money is injected in this tired old lady.

  Great disappointment under several points of view

  We chose to pay some more and try to get a nice place to enjoy ohrid. It was a great disappointment. No calm or Tranquillity. The hotel is next to a state road noisy all day long. Lake view is really not the max specially if it is not on top floor. The rooms are average but bathrooms are not as clean as the could be. We were given a bathroom with problems with the toilet cover (did not have one) and it was not even added while we were there and the culling of the bathroom was coming down also. They offered yo change our room yes but after we had already settled down and did not make sense. Breakfast is rich but quality is not the top.

  Muy viejo

  Hotel muy viejo que queda aislado del lago por la carretera. También queda lejos del centro de la ciudad. En España no pasaría de ser un 2 estrellas. Muy muy justito y casi se podría considerar una vergüenza de hotel.

  Could be improved

  The hotel is located a few km outside Ohrid, and to get to the lake you have to cross a main road, so it's fine for an overnight stay, but not for longer as you always need a car/taxi to move around. My room was at the backside facing the forest, which I didn't mind, while the other side had a great view over the lake (in the higher floors). The room was very spacious with a large balcony - cleanliness in the bathroom could be improved, as could the general state of the hotel which wouldn't mind a renovation. The food and service in the restaurant were good, and with a renovation and maybe a gym or pool, the hotel could gain a bit of attraction in the future.
