  Nice place for a short visit

  We stayed in Albergo Deva for 2 nights. The good points are the free parking, swimming pool and nice backyard. The only thing we didn't like was that the hotel stuff payed far more attention to the German guests and we felt like we were secondary to them.

  Review for restaurant Albergo Deva

  Restaurant, we did not sleep in the hotel: We had two dinners at Albergo Deva, great place, nice view, good food, excellent pizzas for a fair (not expensive) price. And risotto was great too. A lot of Italian eating here as well.

  Basic but good hotel

  This is a welcoming, family run hotel. It is quiet with beautiful views, a nice restaurant and a basic pool area. We arrived late on a Monday night and their restaurant was closed - we were disappointed as it is over 10 minutes from Riva and not much around the hotel - but they were so kind and made us (the best!) ham and cheese sandwiches so we felt so welcome. The staff were lovely and friendly and efficient. We ate pizzas in the restaurant and they were delicious. Know that there is not much around the hotel and you need to go into the town - it is a 15 taxi journey (not walkable) from Riva but you can also get a bus for 1, though that only goes once or twice a day. It makes a difference to be that bit away here though as you are upland and so you get the views. The rooms are of a 3 star level, clean and on the right side, with lovely views!

  Friendly but bad location

  Friendly staff but hotel in the middle of a very busy steep snake path - used mostly by trucks, not ideal when in the pool! This also stopped us enjoying the balcony. Breakfast plain and simple. We were booked for a week, checked out after one night.

  Mad view

  Large pizzas and view was on point, enjoyed it on trip back through the mountains from Trento to Rica del Garda. Worth driving through the hills and mountains on the way through. Has a nice balcony
