  Good bed, excellent breakfast. Bad wifi and terrible shower

  The pros for this hotel: It's new and so is the bed, which gave us an excellent night's rest (even though it was a short one.) The breakfast is the best we had in Brazil. Ingredients are clearly of high quality. The interior is nice, rooms are spacious and modern. The cons: check-in was terribly slow. No one speaks a word of English (I do expect people who work in tourism to speak a little English at least.) The wifi is more off than on, you can't count on it. And worst of all: if 1 takes a shower the next one can start off by cleaning the entire bathroom. It had more of a swimming pool than a shower. We only had a very short night due to an early plane so the last things I wanted were a long waiting time upon checkin and a totally wet and slippery bathroom before my shower. The good breakfast made up for it however. They say they are 10 min away from the airport but it took us 20 min (and it was early Sunday morning.)

  Great Hotel for Americans

  I really liked this hotel. It had a very cool vibe, but not over the top. Rooms were very clean and staff very helpful with some speaking English. Breakfast was top shelf with a lot of choices. I have stayed at others in town and this is my favorite.
