  Affordable luxry and golfer's paradise

  We stayed at the Maximilian from 13-17 October 2016. It was a memorable experience. The room was very quiet the beds comfortable and the service from concierge to the chamber maid excellent. The underground garage was spacious and easily accessible. There are 7 great golf courses in the vicinity and the Resort is top rated in Europe. It also host the Annual Porsche Open which attracts top players. Various interesting places including the town of Passau in Bavaria and Linz, Austria can be visited easily for the day. The hotel also has a very nice Spa area and a medical and physical fitness center. The hotel's main lobby is very impressive and the various boutiques in the hotel offer a variety of clothing, cosmetics, and accessories. The breakfast buffet is spectacular and included in the room price. The hotel's Café serves wonderful pastries and coffees. Certainly worth the visit.

  Absolutely wonderful stay! AMAZING spa!

  This place is a place to come and relax and heal. Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous thermal spa. You could literally spend every hour of everyday in this spa. Service is wonderful. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The highlight for me apart from the spa was the lobby area and the fact that it's a bit out of town but can still walk around the tiny streets and visit and restaurants there as well! Can't wait to be back someday!

  Great event!

  We had a great 2 days here on a business trip, it was great and very traditional! Breakfast and lunches were lovely. Staff were generally friendly, a beautiful part of Germany! The spa area was lovely and the outdoor pool is well maintained!

  Old stile

  I would recommend this hotel for people who are expecting to spend quite time and have some rest. The main audience of the hotel: ladies and gentlemen in ages (50-60+). Very quite atmosphere. Hotel has its own Thermes: 1 open pool with +28 water (kind of cold in October when rainy outside), 1 pool inside the building with +34 (or so) water. In October 2017 the hotel was overbooked so we didn't get our massage as didn't book in advance. I recommend to book it as soon as you arrive to hotel. We had breakfast/dinner included. Food was very good! But still i would say that this hotel is 4 stars, not 5. there were a lot of small cases when we thought "this should not happen in 5 star hotel" (for example we arrived 1 hour earlier than check in and asked if we can use thermes before our room is ready snd got "no" as reply) I could not recommend the management to renovate the building as possibly this is their "old stile" thing. But for sure servise should be on higher level in 5 stars. BTW there are a Therme complex right in front of hotel. They have more options of pools with water but now they have reconstruction so part is closed. Not the best option for young people looking for fun. Anyway me and my boyfriend (we are 30) had very good time and relaxed weekend!

  Beautiful

  We ended up here from a bus tour. The place is beautiful, the food good, and service great. It doesn't seem to get a lot of international guests but handled our large group easily. It is built for the old European climate and has no air-conditioning which made it hot during the day in the current heat wave. Opening the doors and windows cooled the room quickly in the evening.
