  Excelente vista

  El fuerte del hotel es la vista , después es un hotel bastante básico y rudimentario, muy limpio y prolijo. La atención me pareció regular. Está alejado de todo , el desayuno no está incluido , la playa es muy mala de las peores de la isla. No volvería , la pileta tiene un excelente vista.

  Quiet Hotel in Lovely Location

  Friendly, independent hotel perched on top of a small but beautiful NW-facing bay just 10 mins drive from central Portoferraio. Pleasant pool & terrace bar areas overlook the bay, with great views across to Marciana Marina and the Monte Capanne ridge. The water is crystal clear for swimming, beds can be rented on beach...BUT there are no drinks for sale there at all, so be sure to take water etc with you down the steps from the hotel when you head to the beach for the day We were unable to get a sea-facing room when we booked, and our room was consequently adequate but without character. The management wanted an additional 10/day for us to be able to use the in-room air-conditioning (?!! - a worldwide first for me...!) but the central ceiling fan actually cooled the room ok. The breakfast buffet was fine, but your tables are allocated by your room number, so you find yourself furthest from the window if you have not booked half- or full-board...another rather bizarre arrangement... Overall, however, this is a good venue in a lovely location, supported by attentive & helpful hotel staff team members.

  Lovely Hotel with the best Spot for the Sunset ....

  We enjoyed our stay at the hotel it is in a great location and the private beach is beautiful and not crowded at all, the waters are crystal clear ... We had half-board and it was delicious ... the quality of the coffee at breakfast was not great for Italy. Unfortunatly the WIFI is only in one area of the hotel and there it is very weak, I hope they will improve this ... Overall we loved our stay and it was very relaxing for the whole family ...

  Beautiful private beach

  We travelled to Elba without a car, which was a mistake as it meant we couldn't explore. However, we had booked our week as a chill out after attending the Grand Prix at Monza and sightseeing around Milan and Florence. The legend who is Alessandro greeted us and showed us our room with the most awesome sea view. Rooms were basic, but clean and the "towels" we're changed every day. They were more like tea towels and table cloths! Our biggest criticism about this hotel was the restaurant. Thankfully we had only booked half board. They do a 3 course fixed price 20 meal in the evening of average quality, but the worse thing is that it appears to be a popular coach stop and they bombard the place. It becomes a feeding frenzy. More like a school dining hall with very bright lights, lots of noise. Not conducive to a lovely romantic evening meal. We only had dinner there two nights until the waitress offered us "cake or ice cream" for dessert in a very abrupt manner. Thank God we discovered an amazing restaurant just 5 mins walk away called Ristorante da Giacomino. They saved our holiday and we ate their every night. We saw a lot of other guests from our hotel there too. This and the fact that you can only get wi-fi in the bar area really lets the hotel down. Their biggest selling point is the private beach which is just beautiful. Luigi will sell you 2 sun beds and an umbrella for the day and he could do with being a bit more customer friendly! But apart from those points, I would highly recommend this hotel.

  Nice small hotel, clean rooms with every day fresh towels, A-C you need to pay extra, pool is there, snackbar and pingpong table for kids to play Beautifull private beach Many childeren to meet other childeren Food could be better
