  Basic hotel with basic service

  The only thing which make me feel comfort here is only the location which is near to the city centre..the room is very basic, the breakfast are bad..they only give you fried noodle and plain bread which is very basic and coffe or tea. But because the location which is very close to harbour of tanjung pinang and also close to centre of night market at potong lembu which is big area of food stalls in Tanjung pinang city and also to the plantar and traditional market i choose to come here several times..and the prize is very reasonable too..you can walk to the market and harbour in morning and at evening you will enjoy a lot of yummy food here.. the Tanjung pinang city itself is one of my favourite place to come and come every year..it located in bintan island and a lot of beautiful landscapes here

  Clean and nice old hotel

  For a budget hotel, this hotel is worth it. I paid S$52 for 2 nights stay. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The room is clean and nice for a cheap and old hotel. It is still primitive using key entry and housekeeping does not exist during my 2 nights stay. Expect no wifi in the room but you can purchase 6gb telco for as little as S$3 only. 5 minutes Walk from the ferry terminal. The room I got is 211 and right outside the room , there are a number of CCTVs that make me feel safe. I would return again for the budget.

  The stay

  I writing these review in the early morning 4:40am. Why? Because I was waken up by the prayer play at these hour. OK now about the room. Is still OK for me n my family members. Cause we just sleep in the night. But my advise is you better bring insert repellent cost there is a lot of ' war plane ' around and you don't want to be bites by them. The staff in these hotel is the best. They are very friendly but too bad not all know how to speak English.

  Staff rendered great help to me and my husband!

  "Sincere" is the best word to describe the staff. My husband and I was harassed at Tg Pinang Ferry Terminal by a suspicious man who followed us the moment we came out of the Immigration. He kept asking where we are going and wanted to send us there. But we didn't want to take his car as he was very rude and kept following us despite our multiple "no, thank you" to this guy away. We felt very helpless as no one at the Ferry Terminal helped us, so we decided to walk till we reach a landmark. Thankfully, we saw a "hotel" sign and ended up at this hotel. We told the receptionist what happened and he told us to have a seat while he spoke to the suspicious man. After that Yogi (the hotel manager) came down to calm me down as I was very frighten. He told me that he will get his hotel driver to send us to our hotel and gave us a special rate. We reached our hotel safely and am very thankful for Yogi and the receptionist's help. Without them, we might have been in a unthinkable situation. So kudos to the team and we will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Tg Pinang! :)

  So disappointed

  No elevator, what if those guest on wheelchair or old people who cant climb up the stairs I cant believe what I see my room. Even though there a side window but I feel like claustrophobic. I feel so uncomfortable. I feel like I'm in those red light district hotel. The staff seems to be unprofessional of handling, cause I ask to change another but saying that the rooms are all taken. This will be my 1st and last time staying in this hotel.
