  Un bonito palacete con habitaciones convencionales

  El edificio del schloss es bastante atractivo por la parte exterior. Las habitaciones sin embargo son completamente convencionales,y no tienen ningún detalle que haga recordar el origen histórico del edificio. La habitación y el baño están limpios y son acogedores. Tiene wifi gratis. Para el móvil bien, pero para trabajar en remoto con el ordenador la conexión es lenta. El personal, eficiente. El buffet del desayuno es sencillo y cuesta 10 euros. Cuenta con un pequeño restaurante que es muy cómodo y económico para cenar.

  Hotel that flatters to receive

  Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights aat the end of september on a leger tour. It is certainly not 4 star as advertised . The main building shown in the photo is used for Training courses and ther bedrooms for our party were in a separate building also housing the restaurant . The bedrooms were small and very spartan . Ours faced out the back onto a tree area and as a result the room was very dark . The buffet breakfast was good however we found the dinner in the evening disappointing . Their is no bar area although the waiters will bring drinks to your table. Thye hotel is in a very rural area with only a fer shops in the vacinity

  A huge disappointment

  I was part of a coach group titled "Luxuria Signature" so my disappointment is an understatement. The site is poorly kept, the rooms so basic that they are not even the standard of a budget chain, and the food we were served in the evening was truly awful. I particularly resented being told to move into a rear room at the breakfast buffet rather than sitting in the lighter conservatory, segregated from the more fortunate hotel guests. There is very little I can say about the hotel that isn't negative. Departure from this hotel was the best part my stay.

  Leger tour to this dreadful hotel, disgusting food, mosquito infested, not 4 star as claimed.

  This hotel was sold as a Signature Romantic Germany 4 star Castle Retreat by Luxuria. The coach and crew were good, going the hotel in Brussels true 4 star, also the hotel in Ghent returning. But, the Schloss Schweinsburg was truly filthy, not 4 star as claimed, food was pork for every meal with no choice. Rooms had no tea/coffee making, no safe, no security, no fridge, no air con, mosquito infested lots of people badly bitten, no facilities as expected, TV and brochures all in German. Miles from anywhere difficult to get too without our coach, hotel transport unavailable, nothing around

  Hidden provincial gem

  Located deeply in rural area and is little known. To the hotel complex belong several buildings which leave mixed impression. Guest accommodation, event rooms and restaurant are not under one roof. - The historical house, which walls are over 11 centuries old, is used for events. It is truly a hidden gem with 5* and absolutely worth visiting. It is lovingly renovated and has imposing interiors - fantastic Knight Hall, beautiful central wooden staircase, chimneys - and posses special romantic flavor, particularly in evening light. Well-kept garden with pond complement the ensemble. - Guest rooms are located in another contemporary building and contrast with Castle-style. This part is rather 3*: clean but small rooms with narrow bathroom, old fitting carpets (a problem for allergy suffers), worn-out furniture, no tee facilities. - The restaurant is pretty mediocre. Food without soul. The hotel also has wellness areas with sauna and a big sport hall. The place is well suitable for events,and seminars or for a short stay. Big disadvantage - extremely poor connection with public transportation, even taxi is a problem. It's also a pity that historical facts about the Castle are not well presented...
