  Nice clean hotel

  The Sunroute chain of hotels gives good value as a general rule. I found this hotel to be no exception. It was very clean and conveniently located a short walk from the train station. There was a 7-ll very close by. I always look for the convenience stores close to a hotel when searching for a hotel because they are so prudent on prices for coffee, donuts, sandwhiches, etc while in Japan. The staff was courteous and there was free coffee in the lobby.

  Great find in the budget hotel class!

  This is a brand- new budget hotel with lots of polish! I received a very warm welcome and was given Room 703, a double bed with a view to the train station and mountains. The room was small (16m2) but really nicely appointed and laid out nicely so it did not seem as small as some other hotels. The hotel gave me a helpful English explanation of how the aircon worked, etc. The bathroom had one of the nicest small combo bathroom setups I have seen, modern and bright. The shower wand had a needle- thin spray which went from soothing at low volume to stimulating at high volume. The tub filled quickly, before I was done shaving, a very welcome feature. The bed was very comfortable and the duvet was just right for keeping a good temperature with the window opened. Theres always a lot of noise from train stations, but the soundproofing on the windows was great, so it was very quiet there was no real train traffic at night. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection and a very kind and helpful staff keeping things tidy and full. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and a 7-11 two stores down. With the nice facilities and great staff, it must be a top choice in town.
