  Great Overnight

  We go for the FREE use of the massage chair, huge shower and bathtub (NOT Japanese sized...), great water pressure & laundry facilities! There are also a number of other shops&restaurants nearby along the seawall- which is also great all times of year for sunsets.

  I can not say any more positive things about this establishment. I think the first time we stayed, we were hesitant due to the size of "Japanese hotel rooms" - this is not that... Large bed & sitting area, huge bathtub and shower area, free massage chair in the lobby, as well as laundry facilities. If this hotel is able to control the temperature (outside) so that it was not so hot a great deal of the year!? Joking. I do not have anything to say that can be better here. I am a repeat customer & will be back.

  Love the vault designed door!

  Sunset Terrace'S location is rather deep in so you need a car. 10mins drive to American Village. The hotel room door is like a bank vault and it felt strangely safe. Big bathroom with a big bath tub which is great. There is no electric point near beds. There is no housekeeping during stay so its perfect for a 2 days short stay. Privacy granted. Exchange used towels via a small window. No breakfast. 2 bottles of mineral water provided everyday. Like a studio apartment, spacious and comfortable. Rather new facilities. The tiny balcony offers a side angle view of the sea. 8mins walk to the coast for jog or stroll. Love it.

  Pictures don't do it justice - terrific!!

  Like so many others, I found Hotel Sunset Terrace to be a wonderful surprise. The rooms are spacious and filled with quality furnishings and designs (marble floors and counters, etc.). The TV is huge and has external mounted speakers along with an in-counter Blu-ray player. The bathroom is huge with a luxury bathtub and shower. This was very surprising to me. Even simple things like the hallways have special details like floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the ocean. The balconies are great too. Directly across the street is Sunabe beach park with year-round swimming and sandy beach access. One of the best parts of the stay for me was the service and attentiveness of the staff. I stayed for a week, so they gave me one of the best rooms in the property with a view of the ocean on the top floor. They also assisted me with transportation, food, and provided free use of washer / dryer (and even provided powdered detergent). The massage chair in the lobby is amazing! WiFi works flawlessly. The surrounding area is very safe and secure and QUIET. (Except for occasional jets landing at Kadena during daylight hours, didn't hear any at night due to soundproof doors on windows). Recommendation - rent one of their bikes to get around. It's only 1000Y for a full day (return keys by 11p - 4 hours for 500Y). Even without a bike, it's only a 30 minute walk along Sunabe beach to Depot Island / American Village. I will return next time I'm in Okinawa - pretty clear that the owner and management take immense pride in their property and product. A rarity compared to traveling in the US!

  Revamped love hotel?

  Staff is a little hard to find. It was almost nobody staying there while I was there so its understandable. Vending machines and microwaves available. Free parking. Location is pretty good. Decent view from the balcony. New towels every day. Thats nice. You have to look around for the electric outlets. Sometimes theyre hidden behind design features. Good value with the go to campaign discount.
