  No tuvimos suerte

  Tipico motel cn habitaciones amplias y correctas pero alejado del centro. Encima cuando llegamos ala tarde no habia nadie en recepcion y cuando nos fuimos por la mañana tampoco asi que nos encontramos la llave en la habitacion y la dejamos ahi, no vimos a nadie. Alejado del centro. Más apropiado para mochileros

  very nice hotel/apartment to visit Lucca

  as you need only one day to visit Lucca, this hotel is perfect . Lucca is a wonderful small city in Tuscana but 1 day is enough to visit, and Il nido della rondine has the perfect location (only 10 min on foots to reach the city). the apartment was big, clean and quiet but no luxurious but this is normal for the price

  Pretty basic but OK

  The location is good as it is an easy walk to the main gate of Lucca. Provision of free parking is a real bonus. The apartment was very basic - utilitarian is probably the best word to describe it. The kitchen utensils provided were basic but adequate for breakfast (no kettle so we boiled water for tea in a 3litre saucepan). There was an iron but no ironing board. The bed was OK but very hard. Claudio, the manager, was very friendly but was generally not at the property. We had to phone to get him to come. On the night of our check-in, it took 30 minutes to get him to answer so we had just about given up. So, at 85 Euro for a clean apartment in a good location of Lucca, I'm not complaining, but be aware that it is a pretty basic apartment.

  Good place to rest and enjoy the sites

  On our approach to Lucca out Tom tom was confused by the address we had programmed in but apparently it is a common problem,we rang reception and was greater by a mist helpful caring guy called Claudio, he checked us in and we were shown our room clean and good size, he recommended some restaurant and was pleased by his choice ,will definitely come again here

  Very good accommodation

  Roomy and very clean. Serviced each day and a very warm welcome by Claudio. Few minutes walk to city center. Was under the impression the had a guests laundry however they don't. They do have someone come take your washing and do this and returns but this takes some time. We were directed to another laundry however this also was not self service and very expensive. Eventually found a laundromat in the town. Close by everything and cleaned daily. PS if you are looking to have a cup of tea there is no kettle only pots to boil water. We had an iron and board however my daughter did not have an iron in her apartment.
