  Basic but overall a good place to stay.

  This is a great place to stay. It has fantastic panaormic views across the village and the sea, and the sunsets are amazing. Short walk into the resort itself, everything you need is very close by. The only issue is the steep hill up to the property...a bit of a challenge in the heat, but worth the climb for the views. Rooms are basic and yes would probably benefit from a little TLC but this is true of most accomodation of this class on the island - the rooms are definitley no worse than anywhere else I have stayed in the area (this visit was my 4th time to Rhodes) The best thing about the accomodation is the pool/bar area. Very picturesque, clean with plenty of loungers - no sunbed wars here! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. A great place to spend the day chilling. Ravi the barman is an absolute star, he works such long hours but always had a friendly smile and made us feel welcome from the point we arrived and really helped to make our holiday. I would definitley consider staying here again, when I return to Rhodes in the future.

  Nightmare on elm street

  Iv never written a bad review before but I really had to on this hotel we bin to pefkos 6 times and will return the village is beautiful and love the people but will never stay here again from the start we thought that ravi was so very to layed back we noticed that people who have bin he made feel welcome with people first time very off ish we reported things to him never did anything about it the cleaner was just as worse we went for 2 weeks bedding and towels changed twice in 2 weeks there was ants crawling all over us in a morning never swept up did our own mopping even one night it smelt of sewage the water was cut off for a day I'm not no snob it's basic I'm not bothered but can't believe what ravi and the cleaner was like we couldn't wait to get home and we shouldn't have felt like that on holiday jet2 have a lot to answer for I feel tight for writing this because it does effect the business but big changes needed

  Needs investment

  Its such a shame that theses studio have had no improvement in years. We first used this establishment in 2004 when it was under different management, the studios were kept clean, towels and sheets were supplied twice a week and the cleaning was of a high standard, now it a disgrace! I notice that for next year Jet 2 holidays are not using this place, no wonder. We asked on the first day if we could be moved to a studio rather instead of being in a room under the swimming pool and was told it wasn't possible yet he did move other people who complained. The mattresses were filthy, stained and looked about 20 years old. Returning from the beach one day we had no towels in our room, I asked the "Manager" for towels and he said there was none in the laundry but i could take some of the washing line myself which i refused to do so he reluctantly went and got some, he seems to spend most of the day on his mobile phone, very poor customer service skills. I doubt that the owners every read reviews, so my advice is spend some money refurbishing the existing rooms, bring the whole place up to date, you have fantastic views, a wonderful swimming pool, it would be a shame to lose travel companies and customers. At present this place is not fit for purpose!

  Wouldnt stay here again

  Disappointed, this place has so much potential but it is in desperate need of refurbishment, the rooms are small, lindian beds which I found to be quite comfortable , one wardrobe for two people, hardly adequate, no drawer space at all but a table and two chairs in the apartment and also a table and two chairs on the balcony ( which was almost as big as the room), it is advertised as self catering but if you wanted to plug the two ring hob in (located under the sink) you have to move the kettle and toaster, we had two knives, forks and spoons, two plates, bowls and cups, a colander, a huge saucepan and a frying pan, no bottle/tin opener not even a sharp knife to cut vegetables. The bathroom is a wet room, small enough to sit on the toilet, have a shower and clean your teeth all at the same time!! The cleaner comes in every day and empties the bins, hard to say what else she actually does, the sheets were changed three times in two weeks (she did actually leave the dirty ones behind one day) and the towels were changed twice a week, doubtful that the floor got mopped. Big problem with ants, we went and bought an ant spray, no clothes drying facilites on the balcony only on the walkways. The pool was probably the best part of the complex but the surrounding area could do with bit of a clean, plenty of sunbeds, food at the pool bar was adequate. I dont mind basic, you dont spend a lot of time in the apartment but I draw the line at grubby, I wore flip flops all the time I was in the apartment, it need a total refurb and some basic equipment to bring it up to standard, no surprise that jet 2 are not using them next year.

  Dirty and in need of re-furb!

  Where do i start! Our room (No.18) was filthy the cleaning (if you can call it that) was far from acceptable. We bought bleach on our first day as the toilet was disgusting with various marks round the pan (i'm sure you know what i mean!!) The room was very outdated and in need of a re-furb.The balcony had an old woodern table (meant for indoors) that was so big it took up most of the balcony space. The beds were uncomfortable. The shower curtain in the bathroom should have been replaced years ago as filthy with mould on. The bathroom mirror was dirty when we arrived and wasnt touched for 14 days! The bins in the bathroom and kitchen were emptied daily, but we were there 9 days before we had a change of bathroom towels and in 2 weeks our floor was mopped only once. Having stayed in Greece since the early 80's this was by far the worst accommodation i have stayed in, even by greek standards, it was equivilent to a 1 star......On a positive note, there were great views across the bay (when the washing wasnt out on the line) and the pool area was nice (though we didnt see this cleaned once during our stay). The pool area had music playing on the radio which was nice. The food around the bar was ok and we did eat there lunchtime on 3 occasions. That was mainly because we wouldnt cook anything in our room because of the state of its cleanliness and lack of utensils/cooking facilities, no chopping board, no tea towels (i took my own) a 2 ring hob under a cupboard and also not been cleaned for years. I have never been self-catering before and not felt that i couldnt rushle up something. The best part of the holiday for us was the 'resident' black and white female cat who wandered from balcony to balcony to see what was on offer and was very friendly. Needs thoroughly cleaning and a re-furb and would definately not stay there again...no wonder Jet2 were talking about pulling out for next year
