  Good value but not a resort and spa

  I stayed at the Khanommaroc for several weeks, having negotiated a good price for a room, breakfast and the hire of a scooter (about £19.00 per day) and you do need some form of transport if you stay there because it is quite isolated..........it is under the same ownership as the Racha Kiri resort and spa (which I have reviewed and posted photos of) and if you stay at the Khanommaroc you can use the swimming pool and facilities at the Racha Kiri, which is only a few minutes away on a scooter, but you would not want to walk there everyday..................my room was okay, although the wi-fi did not work very often in the room, but was usually working in the breakfast / reception area............I must say that the staff were very friendly and helpful which made for a pleasant stay..........

  Thai standard

  We just stayed one night here before we moved to another accomodation. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful and also the breakfast was tasty. The room itself was rather Thai standard, meaning not very clean - especially if you look on the cupboard or under the bed and there was a certain smell I did not like. All in all it was o.k. for one night, but you can get much better value in Khanom for the same money.

  Beautifully designed in a cool location

  This artfully decorated hotel is located in a calm part of Khanom, close to a popular beach, waterfall and shopping area with restaurants and shops. It's an excellent place to stay for a relaxing holiday.

  Great hospitality!

  Very convenient location, super friendly and accommodating staff!! We travelled here for a local marathon and absolutely loved our stay at this resort! It wasn't on the beach and didn't have a pool but the wonderful staff made up for it!

  Nice place that hasn't had any care for years.

  Rooms are way tired and the management is simply not taking care of the rooms. The first room they gave me had a refrigerator that was unplugged and simply full of mold. I smelled it the moment I walked in the room. The toilet was full of brown water, just filthy. I was tired, sweaty and unwilling to go looking for another room after paying for a room in this hotel online, so I asked to see a room upstairs. The front desk clerk didn't speak english so she called the manager who was unhappy with me. I did get the room upstairs and it was tired but clean. There was a huge gap under the door to the balcony letting in mosquitos but a towel blocked that pretty well. The AC worked well and the sheets were nice and clean. But, for me, there is no coming back from the first filthy first room and the bad attitude of the manager.
