  Best place to stay at Kythnos

  One of the best parts of visiting Kythnos is staying at Kythnos Bay. The hotel and its staff don't ceaze to amaze us by consistently exceeding our expectations! We can't wait to see what they have planned up for our next visit! P. S. Don't miss breakfast - It's the best way to start your day

  Nice hotel at Loutra

  Confortable rooms, perfect lobby, the staff is friendly , tasty breakfast with friendly staff , the rates are ok for the period of August you Have to visit the hotel! Is also great location only 5 klm from Mesaria!

  A bit disappointed!!!

  Its position is perfect because it is very central but not on the main road, so the noise from the restaurants, bars, and the bustling crowd is not disturbing..Of course, the rooms at the back of the hotel which do not have sea view are much quieter and cheaper. The photos of the hotel are a bit "misleading" because this is a very old hotel and only the lobby and restaurant are completely renovated. The rooms are not renovated (old doors and windows with no soundproof).. with new mattresses and very small bathrooms !! The exterior of the hotel is not nice at all, and must be urgently renewed.!! Now the pros are 1) a spacious free parking 2) a 24-hour reception 3) a satisfactory and tasty breakfast 4) the very polite personnel in the dining room.. The cons are .. 1) the "misleading" photos of the renovation 2) the prices which are rather high for what offered 3)some rooms which are considered with sea view but are near a restaurant's chimney (noise and smell) and should be much cheaper!! Last but not least the reception employees are polite but not professionals. They give you canned answers and have no initiative when something out of the ordinary occurs. They waist precious time giving information to guests as to which places to visit, where to eat or swim..etc.and there is almost always a queue in front of the desk. And people waiting to check-in or out have to wait while they should be the priority of the reception. The hotel manager must create an "Information desk" with another employee for that purpose!!

  Perfect staff. Very good price vs rooms

  There are things that are beyond rooms space area , view or whatever you think. The stuff of the hotel was perfect perfect . Go there and relax with the service of those people . The hotel also is value for money. Lutra Kythnos

  An ultimate holiday experience

  Briefly, everything was great during our five days stay. First of all the hotel is located directly at the marina of Loutra, which is in 5-10 min walking distance of Schinari Bay. In the immediate vacinity are several Bars, Restaurants, a mini-market and a diving centre (Aqua Team Kythnos). We arrived in the morning before the official check-in time, but still were welcomed by a very forthcoming receptionist who immediately took care of the formal part of the check in. We were informed that our room will be ready in a couple of hours, but that we could use the common facilities to change, leave our luggage and go to the beach (towels provided by the hotel). The room was extremely clean with beautiful modern design. We really liked the bath products from the famous greek brand Korres. Just one small negative aspect was, that there was no closet for our clothes, only a broad shelf and some hangers on the wall. We had a "sea view" room, which we liked, but essentially you only sea a part of the marina, so don't expect a very scenic view. All in all a very confortable room. The breakfast buffet was extraordinary! You'll find your typical intercontinental products and a lot of traditional greek delicacies. Due to the Covid-19 situation your breakfast was served striclty by the waitors, who with a big smile would serve you at your table, after you point out what you want. The personel was always friendly, forthcoming and smiling, which made our stay very pleasant. I hope they'll keep it that way. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, we weren't able to use the spa services, so we have yet another reason to return to this beautiful hotel.
