  Nice small country hotel

  Nice, freshly renovated hotel in country style. Nice ambiente in mostly red/yellow colours. Very clean rooms with comfy beds and a bathroom which is nearly clinical clean. They offer also sauna, massage and free WLAN. The food is good average. Rooms and food is quite cheap. So it's very priceworthy. They offer different types of pillows also blankets for allergic sufferers. Restaurant time are a little restricted (only 18:00 - 21:00) but you must have in mind that this is a owner-operated hotel. Staff is very helpful (there is no lift).

  Great Food!!

  Had a great lunch in this very nice restaurant located in beautiful Leuchtenberg in the hills of Bavaria. The place was full of the town locals and they really made you feel at home. Friendly staff, great beer and super food. Very satisfying!!!

  Lovely hotel in the countryside

  We booked this hotel basked on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. It is a super sweet, quiet country hotel in Bavaria. We were visiting friends in Weiden which was a 20 mins drive away. The staff spoke great English and were very helpful and friendly. Both of our rooms were very comfortable. Although no airco, there was a good breeze and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner outside. Dinner was very good, highly recommend. You can pay with credit card for the room but not at the restaurant, so take note to have cash! There are lots of walking trails in the area - very pretty. I would love to go back.

  Overnight stop

  Just an overnight stop, so we didn't explore the local area - but it looked very pretty driving through. The hotel was typically German (A good thing!) Lovely room with a balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the restaurant - we had a delicious dinner and my OH made short work of the soft cheese dumplings filled with apricots (see picture). Breakfast was substantial and very tasty too. If we hadn't already booked our next stop we would have stayed another night.
