Worn down hotelI've been here with my husband for a 3-day conference. The elevators were so slow and sometimes there was only one out the the three that was working. The lobby is poorly air conditioned and the hallways on the floors were not air-conditioned at all making you feel so hot with your sweat dripping down your body when waiting for the elevator. The room was so worn down especially the bathroom. When we asked for an extra towel, the front desk told us that they will charge us! It's a money making scheme. They do not even have a wine opener or a cork screw for a wine. The only nice thing we had in this hotel was that the security guards/door openers of the lobby were so attentive. Customer service class is highly suggested for the management to give to the front desk staff.

Urgently Requires RefurbishmentStayed three nights which was long enough. The apartments really need to be updated and improved. Wireless Internet on high floor is very poor - slow and intermittent. There are better alternatives nearby for the same price.

Terrible and the Worst! My experiences and review below is based on 3 days of my stay and i think I'm starting to experience hell out of it. Let's see more with my one-month stay I'm not writing this for bad publicity but for management to LEARN, IMPROVE and do ACTIONS! FACILITIES/ ROOM: Very old Dusty Dark No amenities Smells bad Elevator is very slow, small Lobby, walls and floors are dirty and dusty Poor security Many sex workers near the hotel STAFF Guards are not friendly, lousy, not offering help/ assistance Night OIC is arrogant, sleepy, not customer oriented, impolite Terrible customer service and not friendly Not in proper uniform Doing unnecessary stuffs while on duty i.e. playing loud music on phone, reading newspaper at the concierge Admin Manager is arrogant, threatening Note: Some staffs and experiences are average and okay but mostly bad experiences

Reasonably priced accomodation in MakatiThe rooms are big and have a kitchen and stovetop (2 hot plates) small balcony with no view - looks at car park but I didn't book room for a view. Pretty close to everything and I walked most places ore when I needed a taxi it was never a problem but the traffic always was. Ha Ha. If you wanted more upmarket go across the road to the Berjaya but about 50% more in cost. Value for money.

Poor Management/LeadershipWe booked a room through agoda, when we got to the place they did not let us check-in because they said they had stopped accepting online booking. Called agoda to let them know of the situation, in the end we learned that the front desk just didnt know they have started accepting online booking again. We ended up cancelling the booking and book somewhere else. This is a good example of bad management. The manager should be fired, if you are reading this "shame on you". Expect situations like this when you are in the philippines.
