  Great location.

  The Hotel deserves the 4**** rating. Its modern & tasteful decoration, nice pool & well kept surroundings, the roomy accommodations and closeness to the sea make it a nice place to spend a summer vacation. The Reception, with Claudia & Giovanna was very efficient & professional and Angelo, the Barman, was kind and efficient. Ask him for the Boris Manhattan Bloody Mary. He'll know & you'll love it. The Restaurant staff was very courteous & willing to help. The Sunday aperitif, which was offered, was a nice surprise and a nice touch. On the down side I'd mention a couple of things: the Menu should be more "Romagnolo", that's in part why people come to Romagna. The chef should avoid using too much of a white sauce that tastes like uncooked flour and covers the taste of fish & meat. The pasta should be COOKED, not "over", but definitely not "raw" so if you like your pasta "normally" cooked, not "al dente" make it known when ordering. Finally, the owners should be there when needed, but otherwise be invisible, particularly the young son, and let the employees do their job. And the lady owner could be a bit more cheerful & greet her paying guests with a spontaneous "Buongiorno" and a nice smile, or stay away from the Reception.

  Great stay

  Excellent location, just opposite the beach. Friendly and helpful staff, very kind and willing to make your stay enjoyable. Comfortable beds and renewed rooms, quite spacious. New bikes are available. Good breakfast with lots of homemade cakes. Unfortunately, Cappuccino was a bit disappointing. Various buffet, rich in vegetables and cold dishes. On Sunday an aperitif is offered together with some finger food. The swimming pool is nice, but the water is not warm (as they mention on their website)

  Strongly recommended Hotel

  I've been traveling this area since a lot of time both for business and holidays. Hotel Nettuno is indeed one of the best and my favourite one as it's perfectly located, very closed to Cervia downtown and just in front of the beach. Hotel is also offering a variety of good services like train station pick-up, bicycles availability (very useful in this area), beach towels and umbrella: a very nice swimming pool is also available to enjoy the sun or a relaxing drink after dinner. Staff is nice and friendly, overall a strongly recommended place to stay

  Cervia and Hotel Nettuno : a great combination for a successful holiday ! Fully enjoyed the hotel , the beach and the opportunity to bicycle in the Romagnolia mountains... We will certainly go back. Great place.

  Ironman Italy Trip

  We are leaving the hotel tomorrow after a 6 night trip for Ironman Italy. If you are considering a hotel for the Ironman event this is a great location near the beach with excellent facilities but just far away enough from the finish and the Ironman village to avoid a lot of the noise. The hotel deserves its 4 star status - the pool area is lovely with high quality rattan furniture and the rooms are really modern. We had a side sea view - 209 - a new room which was fantastic - large walk in shower, small balcony and loads of coat hangers which for me was a huge benefit. We were welcomed as soon as the taxi dropped us off and nothing was too much trouble. If we return to do the Ironman event again we would definitely stay here again. The only thing we wished we had done was hire a car as the area has practically closed down now and ideally a few days in another area would have been good eg Florence. Great hotel, highly recommended!
