  Lo mejor de Shaoxing... by far!!

  Desde hace 6 años lo visito durante el invierno por viaje de negocios. Las habitaciones son amplias, modernas e impecables. Free WiFi en todas las areas del hotel.Desayuno incluido expectacular, para todos los gustos! Personal atento y profesional. Shaoxing es una ciudad mediana con mucha historia, surcada por canales e infinitos puentes.

  Not bad, but not memorable either?

  I'm not sure why, but when we checked in, we were automatically upgraded to a bigger room, which was nice. However, originally I had ordered a non-smoking room, so it was a bit disappointing to see that there was an ashtray and matches on the coffee table in the "living room". Anyway, the bed was super comfy and the TV offers a fairly okay range of Western channels. The minibar also has a nice selection as fair rates. The room came with an iron and an ironing table, which seemed to be standard for all rooms and super convenient. The hotel has a gym or a fitness room. There're no dumb bells, but a fixed (and worn out) multi-gym. However, it doesn't really allow you to do much weight-training unless you're very creative. If you're looking for cardio, you're better off - although it would've been nice if they had a cross trainer. On a positive note, there's a water cooler allowing you to stay hydrated. The staff was super friendly and did their best to welcome us and make us feel at home. However, there was no WOW effect. Hence, when I'm in the area next time, I might try another hotel just for the fun of it - and in the hope of finding one with a better gym.

  Buen hotel y lugar.

  Tiene buena ubicación, no en el centro de la ciudad pero a 50 mts tiene una parada metro y buenas conexiones de buses. Buenas habitaciones centro de negocios y gym. Excelente desayuno. Muy buena opción.

  Excellent

  I don't often award 5/5 but the New Century Hotel more than deserves it. Modern, clean, very helpful staff and management made it s joy to stay here for 6 nights. The hotel manager even changed the menu to more Chinese style, after our group wished there was less western style food on the menu. Breakfast was excellent with a massive choice of fresh cooked and staple foods from rice crispies and toast to dumplings and spivey soup. I had a suite, no complaints here at all. If there was on thing maybe a few more English speaking staff, but that's because I don't speak any Cantonese. Tony's Tips. It's a long way from the UK There is limited WIFI around 40 minutes to the airport.

  Booked 3 adults room but only given a double bed

  Booked a 3 adults room but only given a double bed, asked the reception but answer given was on the booking it never mentioned. Booked through tripadvisor so I dint know it was tripadvisor problem or the hotel issue. At last 3 adults need to squeeze on a double bed. Really disappointed.
