  Great for a peacful break

  I enjoyed staying here as i was wanting a relaxing non full on break. The staff are fantastic from the friendliness to just there willingness to help. Breakfast is good and brought to you every morning when you wake up so no rush ever. It might be out of the main areas but not to far from everything you need from shops and the beach only a short ride. Better then expected being non mainstream would definitely stay again.

  Came for a few days

  We came for a few days back in August 2015... By September 2015 we had flown home to Australia and decided we could make the changes in our lives to try and live from over there. We packed everything up and moved to Pousada Canggu on a semi permanent basis. We have moved into villa Amorzao. We obviously love the place. It's far enough away from all the traffic, however the beach is at the end of our street, Seminyak is a short scooter ride away, Legian (If we wanted to go) is just a bit further on from that, with Kuta just next door. We have found that the prices of everything in Canggu are at least half and sometimes 90% cheaper than in the high tourist areas... and they have everything we need in Canggu. The food is delicious and very cheap. By 'very cheap' I mean, $2.80 AUD buys two meals, two packets of chips and two bottled drinks. You can go to a flash restaurant around the corner for maybe $10.00 AUD for all of that and more. Pousada Canggu has lovely staff, great breakfasts, great clean room, good housekeeping every day. You'll love it as much as we do. Introduce yourself when you come and stay. It's a such a secure feeling staying here. You can hire a scooter for a day, a week, a month, a year. We bought new ones, but they have scooters to hire as well. They gave us the option when we stayed.. "You can stay a day, a week, a month or even a year" We are going to stay longer if we can. :-)

  Quite and great location

  I stay 2 months in pousada Canggu, all star really friendly. Clean, peace, quite, nice garden, really love that place I'm pretty sure when I come back again to Bali with my family I will stay in here

  Most amazing place, friendly managers & staff , quiet area, very tidy, spacious air con rooms.. Beautiful bathroom.. Tranquil feel, close to everything we needed and more.. 5 minutes from echo beach.. Highly recommend if you want a nice quiet stay out of the Kuta hype... And a great price.. We will be back for sure.. Thanks so much for having us at your beautiful place & thanks for being so kind to me & my kids.. Cheers to Russ, Tracey, the staff, sup, moose & feno X

  A few things.

  The rooms are very spacious and really well made up for our arrival, nice bathroom and the best accomm wifi we have had in 2 weeks. Maybe because we had only a short stay and didn't spend long here during the day we barely spoke to a staff member, nobody around when we arrived so read a note left out that explained which room was ours (no problem) But you have to order breakfast the day before so unfortunately we ended up with melon both days which neither of us can eat, and a rather unappetising sandwich TA and agoda don't actually show its location on a map, but a photo shows a beach 'at the end of the road' well this is one very long road if you haven't got transport 10-15 mins drive IMPORTANT: you will not sleep past sunrise in the end villa, the cockerels do not relent until 8 when they are drowned out by the poor pig squealing. We understand this is further out into the countryside but I challenge anyone to sleep through that.
