  A good experience

  Came in very late and stayed there just for a night. Owner, waited patiently for me to check in. Red guest house is actually an old type of shop house. Very spacious however, its is converted into about 9 small rooms upstairs on the second storey. Room is nicely decorated but simple in layout. Toilet is rather small and either shared or private depending on your requirement. Thumbs up to the lady boss who is so hospitable with us. Would recommend this place to travellers who are not fussy

  Trip with friends

  Don't get freak out from the look of outside of the guest house,it's very red :D Overall stay was nice,the lady owner was really helpful and friendly :) the room that we got was really pretty and decently painted with cute colors that made us feel like home.

  Amazing owners

  Very nice and professional owners that help us in everything. Her husband take us to the sultan mosque and smile everytime. Spacious rooms and clean. We recommend it Highly!!! ;-) the palce was quiet and not far from the centre of Mellaka.

  Good guest House just for a night stay

  This looks like a two story building converted into a guesthouse. Managed by a very friendly landlord lady. The Seaside Masjid is just 5 minutes drive from here. Do not miss. Landlady helps with some information about local attractions and foods. About the house, When we reached the toilets were stinking. It was immediately cleaned after we complained. This is a good house if you are 3-4 people family looking for a place just to stay in the night. Please note the toilets are shared ones. there is no TV. we have A/c and Fans in every room. You will get hot(warm) water in the shared bath room. The only drawback is the rooms are in first and second floor. So if there are elder people they may face difficulty climbing the narrow staircase. Having all these, We can say this guesthouse is good for the less money we are paying. So if you are budget traveler who don't look for a luxury, you can choose this.
