  Motor bike week

  The hotel is in the second row. In the first row there is an other Hotel . If you have a room at the second floor to the lake side it is good. The rooms are clean and the room cleaning service is very good. Over all, the people who are working there are very friendly and helpfull. The service in the restaurant is also very good helpful and frindly. We had a 3/4 arangement means breakfast dinner and in the afternoon cakes coffe . There was also the possibility to get a lunch package if you ar not in the hotel at that time. The terrasse was a nice place to be. You have the opportunity to take breakfast and dinner on the terasse. The breakfast and dinner was very good and sufficient. We were with our motorcycles to this hotel. An essential point why we opted for this hotel, was that, according to description a garage for our motorcycles was available. The reality was a bit different. The garage is from both sides open for free access. The space in this garage is limited for up to 7 cars. If guests book a garage place they get one for a rent. This limits the space for motorcycles. During our visit there was mostly the half garage blocked by cars. Positiv is that you have a special place to clean your bike. All in all we can recomend that hotel.

  A return visit is a must!

  We spent six days at the Regitnig and loved every minute! Right from the start we 'felt at home'. The lovely staff, many of whom are family, were warm friendly and welcoming. Our room(s) were spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was of the highest standard. There was a temptingly great choice for breakfast, buffet lunch was varied and tasty and the six course dinner was something to look forward to, from the salad buffet through to the buffet cheese and fruit course. The Eder family have thought of everything to make your holiday special, even offering rugs/shawls if sitting on the terrace in the evening. We enjoyed the lake-side garden with its jetty, changing rooms, honesty bar, rowing boats and table-tennis. Frau Eder, Caroline and Edith were especially helpful with suggestions of walks, day-trips and activities and also with translation! We will most definitely return for more. Thank you.

  Christmas/New Year break

  A beautiful area. Hotel was spotless and very welcoming. We stayed in Chalet 502 and it provided everything we needed. Breakfast in the hotel was plentiful and lovely. Everyone who worked at the hotel were very friendly. We were the only English in the resort and it was brilliant. We didn't get any snow whilst there but the ice skating and views were fantastic. A tranquil Christmas/New Year break with family and friends from Germany. I certainly hope we will be going again.

  Stayed in apartment 509 as a family of 4, plus dog and absolutely loved it ! Fantastic views, great facilities such as free paddle boarding, kayaking, rowing and a very warm welcome from the team. We were the only English tourists and I'm reluctant to write a review as it's one of Austria's best kept secrets. Don't hesitate to stay here, you won't regret it !

  A very special place!

  After staying in the Hotel Regitnig two years ago, we promised ourselves a return visit and what a joy it was to be back. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the village of Techendorf by the beautiful Weissensee, ideal for walking, cycling, swimming or boating on the lake. There were, of course, some changes. The new chalets are completed and look stunning, the tennis court is now an extra car park, the seating terrace has been extended and the fabulous See Spa with sauna at the lakeside is very impressive. The Eder family and the team at Regitnig should be proud of what they have achieved. The hotel has not lost any of its warm and friendly atmosphere and we immediately felt at home. We booked a 'Panorama Room' at the top of the hotel and the views (from both balconies!) were stunning. The room was spacious and stylish. The food was always to the highest standard, from the wide choice at the buffet breakfast to the excellent A la Carte menu in the evening. The Eder family - Irmgard, Hans Peter, Michael, Marcus and Thomas - were always around attending to the needs of their guests. The rest of the staff were all so friendly and smiling too. It was hard to leave such a wonderful place and we dream of returning again.
