  Excellent value for a good price

  Perfect location for your way to the South of France. Close to the motorway. Traditional place that has recently been redecorated. Very friendly staff and good food in the restaurant. If you do not want to stay in one of the standard hotel chains, this is the place to be.

  Good place for a stopover

  I stopped off here for one night as I was driving down to Provence. I chose it as it was within easy reach of Beaune and looked far nicer than any of the equivalent options in the centre of Beaune. Very friendly welcome. The rooms are a decent size. Since it is beside a road, it is a bit noisy in the morning but this didn't bother me as I was up and out relatively early. I didn't try the hotel's restaurant. I think there are better ones in Beaune which is just a short drive away. If you were to stay at the hotel it'll cost you 23-26 euros for the set menu excluding drinks in the evening. There is off street parking at the hotel which is handy.

  Good service but too noisy

  In common with others who have posted a review here, my family party used this hotel as a stopover on our way to Nice. It has a nice traditional exterior, and the interior has been modernised. The English-speaking staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the restaurant food was excellent, if a bit pricey when going off-formula. The downside was that our very small rooms were on the front of the hotel, overlooking the main road. As a result, we suffered the noise of trucks and farm vehicles going past all through the night. To make matters worse, it was a very warm evening, there was no air-con, so it was a case of open the windows and suffer the racket or suffocate! If you can get a room overlooking the back of the hotel you'll probably be OK, but avoid the front rooms. Overall, a decent hotel but we found a better one nearer to Nuits-St-Georges for our return trip.

  like a better hostel

  Actually I don't linke ti write any ratings, but for this hotel I must. On the basis of ratingI booked this hotel in the internet. The room I got, was terrible. A very small double bed and a very old worn bathroom. The wlan receiving very bad too. This is a old hotel, and you can listen everything. In area is nothing else than a bakery in front of the hotel. But the street also in front of the hotel are in the morning and evening busy. Even the price was a little bit higher than in the reservation. The night before, I stayed in a 8 more expensive hotel, and the difference was like day and night. I've to rate this hotel not better than a good hostel.

  En route to Beaune

  Worth a lunch stop if you don't want the hassle of parking in Beaune and are approaching from the south east. Easy to find in the centre of the village, pleanty of parking, decent Burgundian fare. Well-selected wine list.
