  BAÑO INOLVIDABLE

  La habitación era muy amplia, agradable y confortable.El cuarto de baño bien, con kimonos , zapatillas y chanclas de madera. Lo necesario para hecer té y unas vistas al río, de ensueño. Pero para mí lo mejor de todo fueron los baños termales. Atención: hay que ducharse antes de entrar en ellos(lo mismo el interior que el exterior) y meterse desnudo. Las mujeres lo hacían con bañador, al menos en el exterior. Si uno se fija en cómo lo hacen los japoneses, no es dificil. La sensación que se siente compensa la falta de experiencia.

  Una vista del bosque inolvidable con excelentes aguas termales.

  Al entrar en la habitación lo que hay es una maravillosa vista al bosque, desde el área de descanso se escucha el río y por la noche puedes disfrutar de una sinfonía maravillosa de sonidos, es un lugar de sueño, la comida muy buena y las aguas termales de lo mejor que hay en Japón (hay que respetar la etiqueta por favor), en general, quedamos más que encantados con el lugar, lástima que sólo nos quedamos un día, de haber sabido nos quedamos más ya que vale la pena.

  Excellent accommodation!

  I stayed here with my family in a Japanese style room. It was immaculate, clean and the view outside the window was absolutely beautiful. The dinner and breakfast were buffet style and so many delicious choices! Staff was so helpful and professional. We enjoyed the roten buro and my son went several times a day. They even provide a van to take you to the Kumano Kodo trailhead. Definitely coming back in the fall.

  Superb views and Japanese experience

  The hotel is very nice and very modern. We were greeted wonderfully by the reception staff and shown straight to our room (805). The room was traditional Japanese and very large. It has a magnificent view over the river, has an ensuite and own shower room and of course the wonderful Japanese electric toilet seats. The only drawback for us was the traditional Japanese bed, which we arent used to, so sleep wasnt great due to the hardness of the bed. There are block out shutters, so look for them otherwise youll have an early wakening. We had dinner included in our stay and it was amazing. A set meal and also choices from the Japanese smorgasbord. Absolutely delicious. The hotel also has Japanese baths available, both inside & outside. Once again these are amazing and so relaxing. Breakfast was also well up to standard with a great choice. I would absolutely recommend staying at this hotel.

  1 night stay on Kumano hikes

  Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids aged 8, 8 and 1) stayed here for one night along our journey exploring the Kumano Kodo trails. We absolutely loved our stay, the traditional Japanese room was huge - so comfortable and clean. The futon beds were prepared so expertly. Furnishings and tatami were luxurious. The hotel is right on the river with both indoor and outdoor hot spring baths. We could bathe as a family in the outdoor bath, it was an amazingly beautiful experience being under the stars with soft rain falling whilst in an Onsen bath on the river bank. Dinner and breakfast was a large choice of Japanese foods in buffet style ... it all looked amazing but not that worth it for us personally due to our dietary restrictions, the staff accomodated us as best as they could. The kids yukatas were adorable. The hotel is close to the Kumano Hongu Taisha section of trails and a great stop on the way to experience the Japanese countryside and Onsen in this region!
