  Feels bad!

  The only two good things about it, is location and nice interier. Breakfast was poor, every day the same, on little plate 5 pcs of cheese, 5 pcs of sausage, most of stuff very anthipatic, unprofessional. We must pay at arrival, even before I get or see the room.

  Economy Rooms with NO WINDOWS!

  In years and years of travels I have never had a hotel room with no window. However all economy rooms at Savamala Bed and Breakfast DO NOT HAVE WINDOWS. Unfortunately we realized that only after our arrival. And while the staff was very friendly and helpful and while the rooms are new and clean the fact that the Economy rooms habe no windows preposterous. Imagine a room with no natural light in which you do not know what time of day it is, you cannot ventilate or just see whether it is sunny or rainy outside. Theoretically the concept of this hotel is good. Practically I would never ever book a room with no window again. A window is not a luxury, it is a necessity. I am in a hotel not a jail.

  Great place in excellent part of the city

  The rooms are very nice, very clean and modern. The cleaning of the rooms is every day. The breakfast is much better than the last time we were. The location is good, near the city center and near the river on the other side.

  Average at best, location saves the day

  Stayed two nights, was looking into few other options but decided for Savamala due to location and price seemed ok with breakfast included. Bed was good and bathroom had a nice shower. I was surprised upon arrival when asked to pay fully in advance, practice I did not came across until now. Staff was not very friendly and didnt see a smile throughout my stay. Breakfast was the biggest dissapointment as thy do not have any kitchen and cant serve even boiled eggs! I was offered cold cuts and toast, cereal, fruits etc. - all of whitch I do not really eat. On an interesting side there are massages that could be ordered from outside, also something new. Didnt try them, and as I wont be coming back. Im on my was back to Belgrade next week and have booked other accomodation, hopefully with a better outcome this time. Watch out for dodgy taxi drivers, I was charged way too much for the fair from near by train station. With some better management and more guest focus things could improve quickly, basics are there.

  A gem - great value in a great location

  I had just 11 hours in Serbia, but rather than staying closer to the airport, I wanted to stay in the old town, and see a bit of the city before heading back to the airport. This place was ideal for that, was inexpensive and well located for the old town, Republic Square, the Castle, and the river bank. The room I stayed in had been refurbished recently and everything was clean and felt new. The room was spacious, had a great bathroom, good wi-fi and a comfortable bed. It also had bedside lamps and power sockets by the bed, both of which are often missing from cheaper hotels. The staff were friendly, and very helpful in booking a taxi for the airport (EUR 10). I would certainly stay here again if I come back to Belgrade.
