  After hours confusion

  I was booked into this hotel on the basis that it was close to the Railway Station and close to amenities. Sadly it was wrong on both counts. It is a CHF15 journey in a taxi and at 9:15pm in the evening all of the local bars/restaurants were closed. My arrival was unnecessarily confusing. Reception had closed moments before my arrival and I was left with the task of entering my booking reference on a screen outside the front entrance. Regrettably my booking reference wasn't recognised and I had to resort to a telephone call to eventually locate my room key. My room was very warm with no air conditioning - to make matters worse, I couldn't tolerate the window being open due to the constant traffic noise from the nearby motorway. Definitely not a good option for a business traveller.

  Nice and clean

  Pritty new hotel, next to the Autostrasse and close bij ge Gotthard-Strassentunnel. Beautiful scenery of Switserland. We couldnt get acces to wifi as the receptionist hadnt well explained what numbers to fill in, and there was nobody at nigth to explain. But parking was great. They suggested us to go to a small restaurant-(Allmendhuisli) down the road. Was a great place and for sure also recomended.

  Stop over

  We booked this hotel for a stop over night on the way to italy. It had a family room and for us that was what we needed. The check in experience was very friendly and helpful and as the hotel was very quiet we did not have to wait. The room was very big with four beds so plenty of room, the bathroom in comparison was small, there was only one drinking glass in the room, one reading light and no telephone to call reception and to let them know that the bus full of foreign tourists that had arrived earlier should take there heels off and stop moving furniture around at 04.00am!! ( probably good to ask if they have any groups arriving whilst staying there). Breakfast was ok coffee, cereals, bread ham and cheese basically what you need. After informing the reception about our noisy neighbours a 20 franc discount was given and we were on our way. A ok hotel but missing a few personal details and it was just a bit of bad luck that we had noisy neighbours.

  GOOD HOTEL ,PERFECT BREAKFAST

  We stayed already several times in the hotel . Perfect because on the exit of the highway and with their own parking . Closeby is already a nice swiss restaurant with local food the hotels breakfast is perfect ,rooms are clean and very friendly staff,good price depnding on season .

  Stop over on the way to italy

  Second time in this hotel with the three of us. We booked a family room which was very big, a double bed and bunk beds and a reasonable sized bathroom with a very nice shower. The only disappointment again is that this hotel still hasnt got air conditioning which is desperately needed as the rooms get very hot indeed and to open the windows is not an option as it is a busy location ( lots of car noise) and for a price of nearly 200 per night this is not acceptable in this price range. Apart from these things the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was ok. I cant completely recommend to all due to the airco and the price.
