  Family hotel

  If you happen in pangandaran, this place maybe is good for spending days in here. Near minimarket, store, cafe, restaurant and walk distance to the conservation. The hotel is old but the room is comfortable

  Management not professional

  I have reserved my room with jacuzzi for like 6 months ago however a week from my arrival i have received a call saying that theres a problem and will try to fix it, if upon my arrival the room isn't ready than they will downgrade my room with reasonable price. However upon my arrival i have been informed by the front desk that my original room is being booked by one of the management family. That is very rude and unprofessional. They just dump us and simply telling bs story in hope that we succumbed by the story of something wrong with the room. I don't mind being downgraded however in this case this is a pure example of unprofessional management.

  Good room, lovely views

  Nice room, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Only downside was the mosquitoes in the room. Breakfast had a variety of tasty options. I'd advise wearing bug repellent when staying here. Pleasant stay, otherwise.

  OK for a couple of nights

  Stayed as part of an organized tour so no choice but paid for a room upgrade and glad we did. Upstairs and overlooking the beach, the room was quieter and bigger than the roadside ones others in the group had. Large room, good A/C and reasonably clean but no hot water in the morning. Solar hot water but booster either broken or missing. No hand towel or bath mat in bathroom, major fail, as these are basic requirements and cheaply provided. Read reviews noting mosquitos in the room so had staff spray ours. Did the job. Breakfast was below average, even for this hotel's rating. Pool was excellent but poolside drink was expensive, twice the price of nearby restaurant, so don't bother, not cold enough as well as a rip-off. Lots of hotels in the area so probably better ones but Sunrise not completely off the options list.

  beautiful setting and lots of shopping nearby

  I was surprised to have a room with a 'balcony' opening to the street! Pool was beautiful, warm and almost empty always. One day the breakfast room was totally crowded by more than 200 students wanting it at the same time my tour had booked room. But next day we were there almost alone (Dec 18) and the BF menu was excellent. Room furniture is old and drab. Towels were the thinest I have ever seen! It could be a fantastic hotel if they invest a bit more in towels, bedsheets and furniture. TV only is Malay,
