  Not very modern decor but clean and convenient

  Tara is in a very convenient location for a last nights stay before catching a flight out of Dublin. It is a bit dated, but clean and comfy. Our en suite was actually outside our bedroom but immediately next door and not shared so ok. Our friends bathroom was adjacent to their room. We had to leave for the airport at 7 so our hostess left us sandwiches and oranges bagged outside our doors for us to carry with us. Very sweet. It was only a very short drive along The Irish Sea (maybe a mile) to Malahide which had tons of eating options. Tara itself is a block from the waterfront so nice to walk over and stroll the beach. My only complaint was that our coffee was decaf in our room and was almost empty but there was a kettle with tea and sugar. Not fancy but very sufficient. Also it only took us 30 minutes to get to the airport and that was with us making a misstep and having to backtrack. We probably should have gotten there in 15. Recommend.

  Lugar de paso y poco más

  La casa está limpia y ordenada. La habitación que nos tocó era demasiado pequeña, no había sitio para dejar las maletas, por lo que tuvimos que dejarlas en el suelo, lo que dificultaba la circulación. La atención de Mary Lee, correcta aunque escasa. El desayuno (irish breakfast) es abundante y bien cocinado.
