    A very warm welcome

    Fantastic homely inn with great food and a first class breakfast. Perfect for a trip to the picturesque Bradford-on-Avon. Suggest pre-booking a table if the weekend as the inn is very popular with the locals

    We booked a large table (15 people) and were very well looked after. Food was good and enjoyed by young and old. Good menu - something for everyone and very accommodating staff. Highly recommended, we will return!

    Excellent Valentines dinner with my wife. Baked cannery with herbs and toasted fresh bread was delicious. The pear tart with salted cameral was the highlight. The service was excellent, not rushed, and always helpful.

    Wedding Anniversary

    Very large spacious room with enormous bed with lots of amenities. The bathroom was excellent with big old bath and walk in shower. On the negative side, the room we had only had wall lights and was very dark (probably better if the weather not so gloomy) and the decor was a bit tired in bedroom, bathroom was great though. Lights in bathroom were constantly flickering and the latch on entrance door didnt lock properly and you could push it open without key. Though We never felt any security risk. Our room was above the kitchen so we could here the noise from there and the bar, but that settled down by bed time. Food in the restaurant at night and for breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

    Very big room and bed

    This is a nice pub cum hotel. Our room was very large and had a massive, comfortable bed. The room's decor was fine although the carpet was a little tired. The bathroom was more modern with a superb shower. The room was quiet, and the breakfast was good. Staff helpful. My only beef was that it was perhaps a little pricey for the time of year.
