  We stayed for a family vacation in unit A408. We had originally planned to stay at Blue Mountain Beach but had to make a last minute change to Seagrove Beach. We really liked the location and the family atmosphere at the Dunes of Seagrove. It is not overly crowded at the condominiums, but the beach is packed as there is public access beside the property. The unit comes with beach set up, but the public is able to set canopys and umbrellas directly in front of your seat so you are looking through their canopy/tent to see the ocean, watch kids etc. I havent experienced that with other condos. The actual unit was very nice, plenty of room, kitchen well equipped, and had a great view of both pool and beach. We liked it was a top floor unit and You dont have to wait long for elevators. I will say housekeeping (Wyndham property) could use some attention. They must have ran out of king size pillowcases so they placed one standard size on each case and left the dirty pillow with dried blood exposed. Gross! We brought our own pillows thank goodness. There was part of a pop tart still on the end table in the unit and when I used a Clorox wipe to clean off the kitchen counter, the wipe had my hand print upon arrival. Our unit wasnt ready when we arrived but before we finished check in, it was ready. I question if the bathrooms were really cleaned as the showers were complete dry as were the sinks. There was some toothpaste residue still in the sinks. I would think showers would still have some water evidence if they were just finished cleaning. The owners have done a fabulous job with the decorations and making the unit comfortable, so its unfortunate housekeeping is lacking.

  Excellent property

  This was my first pandemic vacation. I wanted to cancel and take a credit, but Wyndham will not credit their substantial Registration Fee,so we decided to go. Im very glad we did. Unit C307 is excellent and it could not have been cleaner. It was spotless. The property is very well-maintained. I did not feel the beach was packed. Crowded is a relative term. Compared to Destin or Sandestin, this is not a crowded beach. The staff were all friendly and very willing to help. The property is surrounded by beautiful, quiet neighborhoods/rental homes. Check in and check out was easy and did not require interaction with staff. I would highly recommend this unit.

  201B BLACK MOLD

  All of the vents contain black mold and no one in management will even help you. Horrific. Unit 201 B Benchmark management, avoid at all costs! Also the condo was filthy upon check in. They tried to cover the mold smell with nose burning air freshener. Terrible shame

  103B was just ok

  Stayed here for a week and the location is nice. Our condo needed some help with TVs which went out and were small and old. The WiFi is awful and I mean awful. It is on the first floor so not much of a view with the dunes blocking the view of the beach. The bunk room is really just a medium size closet, so it is very small. Overall just ok.

  We would have rated it a 5 but for the hours of frustration dealing with the television cable setup that requires combining remotes and very confusing screen prompts. Also, while the website promises that it was thoroughly cleaned, much of the doorway woodwork in the unit was tacky which indicated to me that that area had not been cleaned in quite awhile. I do appreciate the consideration of Vacassa, the rental agency in allowing us to change our check-in by a month at the last moment when one of our group had emergency surgery.
