  Was a bit disappointed

  Loved the setting of the pub and the olde world charm of the interior. Ordered a couple of pints and sarnies. The cider was lovely. However, the sarnies were a bit of a disappointment. The cheese and pickle sandwich was more pickle with a sprinkling of grated cheddar. The tuba sandwich was much better, but really thickly spread with butter. Staff were friendly.

  Dreadful

  Dreadful place that could be so much more. The contrast between the location and the reality could not be more extreme. Avoid! It has a beautiful river side site with gardens and outside space that could be perfect. But the staff, their attitude, the management and their whole approach. Ugh! Avoid!

  Just a pub visit

  I went with my cousin after paddleboarding 28 miles from Hereford and, while it is true that some of the fittings are a little tired, considering the fact that the cellar had been flooded TWICE since the beginning of October, Rick gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful. A real triumph of human spirit over adversity and we'd both certainly visit again. It was also worth noting that pretty much half of the menu was veggie too.

  Pub now closed

  Pub closed and up for sale looks very dilapidated I guess corona virus and other reasons caused it to close. If refurbished they would need to protect against flooding which could be another reason why the pubs along this stretch of river are closed. Such a shame it is a lovely location

  PARKING FINE

  I brought my family here for dinner in 2017!!! the system you have for your parking clearly does not work, we were asked to check in on an iPad which was done, we stayed for just over and hour and a half, spent money in your pub only later to receive a parking fine saying we had not checked in, i have appealed against this. We are now in 2021 and i am still being harassed with letters from civil enforcement ltd and ZZPS, threatened with officers and have an unwarranted CCJ against me. it is absolutely disgusting that you treat your customers in this way.
