  Hotel Review

  The hotel itself is very chill and the service is also very good. We visited Gangtok and had two days of stay at the hotel. located at the heart if the city with beautful view and also very resonable price for what we are getting. Being a non Indian tourist we had no problem what so ever. The people were very friendly and professional. This being a non bias review I suggest everyone to visit the himalayan height hotel .

  Avoid this hotel

  The web page says, Powert back up .. in a 5 storey hotel, they don't have lifts and in the event of a power outage, they had no power back up. despite several reminders, Candles to keep the room lit was not forthcoming and they sent two candles after persuasion. To charge mobiles too was an effort and had to go to the reception and charge the mobiles and even the ups conked off subsequently. The agent who booked the hotel for us, was helpful in advising change of hotels but just for the night was waste of time. Spent a cold night with no room heaters too. if you have a choice avoid the hotel. posting on behalf of Chakrabarti x 2

  The hotel is good, interiors has the tibetan touch, service is okay, we had breakfast complimentary but it had limited food and we were left Unsattisfied. Food taste and quantity is minimal, I would suggest to visit mg marg for good food. Rooms are good in size, we had an attached balcony, there is room heater available. Geyser works fine, bathroom is quite spacious and clean, bed is but smaller in size. As it is near roadside you will feel quite safe. The amazing thing about this hotel is I had an amazing view of kanchanjengu peak if the weather is clear.

  Worse service Terrible food quality.

  Hotel staff is not at all customer friendly, we had to call them twice or thrice in person still their behaviour is very casual, even food quality and taste is pathetic....Not up to the mark which anyone should generally expect..

  Spacious room with wonderful views

  Stayed here for the second time and it didn't disappoint. In walking distance to MG Marg, this was a convenient place for me to stay. Rooms are spacious and the toilet clean. There was hot water always so that's great. Views are stunning from the room balcony. Breakfast was provided though I could do without. It's quiet in the rooms so a good place to consider for staying in Gangtok.
