    Outstanding

Can not fault this place rose and terry were absolutely brilliant! Very welcoming felt so at home! We came to stay with two other familys as our daughters were taking part in a street dance competition in Blackpool! rose and terry took time out to watch the girls show them there dancing skills! Well worth the money so very cheap, I cant fault this place! beds are so comfy room are big and spacious we booked a room for 4,one being a one year old and big dig double bed, bunk bed and a chase lounger with the option to have a cot and so much room with en-suite! If you come to Blackpool this is the place to stay! Over all outstanding! Thank you and we will be returning

    It was ok.... just ok

Having going to Blackpool for a few years and our fave b+b (Merginn owner) moving back home we needed a new b+b to come and stay at,so looking at reviews on the now gone Laterooms we decided on the Marnoch. On arrival we was welcomed and stated when breakfast was etc and the lady owner was nice and accomodating and given the key. Then over the next 3 days is where it all went a bit iffy. Room 5. No wifi despite saying it had, my phone signal is poor anyways so let it drop but gfs phone couldnt pick it up either, not really a major issue due to being out. Window wouldnt lock/shut and as it was a very windy weekend we heard it through the night as well as the fight that happened nearby from locals which doesnt put Blackpool in a good light at all but we saw worse through weekend anyways but just a shame it happened around there as all in all it was quiet. Scratching above the bathroom ceiling in which was puzzling to know what it was till realised theres pigeons nesting above so sitting on toilet and this god forsaken pigeon scratching like it was in same room, all weekend long coupled with a slidy bathroom door which doesnt fit into the groove we both could hear each other on toilet and shower. The shower...it looks like it needed a new pump as we got a dribble of water per night which was frustrating.Sink was leaky so we needed to put a cup underneath if we wanted a bit more water out of tap but instead dribbly washing hands to stop floor being flooded. We had to ask for teabags and fresh towels after 2nd night as no replenshment from anyone. BUT.... We got the room for £125 for 3 nights with breakfast and despite the cancellation of the Airshow and really crap weather we had an ok break. the Breakfast was DELICIOUS and the bloke (Terry) was really nice, the beds were comfy and we got sleep all in all, Very close to train station too so was ideal. Just a shame we only got a grunt from the lady owner when we checked out despite warning them in advance we would be leaving early sunday has made us decide we wont be coming back, its a shame as we dont expect the full works but we do expect manners even a goodbye. Cheap b+b with despite the delicious breakfast you get what you pay for.

me and my friend and two children came for the night, checked in fine, although card machine didnt work properly , so paid in cash, given room 1, 2 bunk beds and a double bed in a big room, all sheets clean and fresh towels on the bed, tea coffee and milk, and soap and a few shampoo sachets , really comfy beds had a great nights sleep, Went for breakfast, there are cereal , fresh orange and a full english breakfast very tasty and nice tea and coffee, close to the north pier would stop again, nice place and for 70 quid for 2 adults and kids including breakfast,
