  Good location

  Toyoko inn Chiba Ekime is in a good location. Just 5 minutes walk from Chiba station, east exit. When you get out of the station, walk to the right side to the street then turn right and walk until you reach the second traffic light. Cross the street on your left and walk straight for just meters. The hotel will be on your left hand side. It is a rather big building with a big sign "Hotel" in English above Japanese, written in blue color. The staff are good although they can speak limited English but they are willing to help!

  Very good location

  We stayed here for a few nights since it was close to the Chiba station (we went to Disneyland). It was a wonderful experience. Room was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning. I even got a birthday present from them which was very sweet.

  Nice two night stay in Chiba

  My wife and I stayed here and the property is easy to reach from the JR station. Rooms clean and service was very good as is typical of a Toyoko Inn. Two good restaurants nearby that can be reached by heading right as you leave the hotel and turning right again at the first street. On your right hand side is an isikaya with white and red lanterns and straight ahead is a sushi restaurant. The isakaya has a gentleman who speaks English and the sushi place has a picture menu. Both very good. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

  Very close to the train station

  An easy walk from the JR station. It is smaller hotel with fewer rooms than most other Toyoko Inns I've been to but I had a nice, comfortable stay here. The staff is helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was great -- healthy Japanese mostly veggie fare. The in-room WI-FI was excellent. They had English handouts to explain their policies and one for the air-condition/heater unit.

  2 nites for business trip

  . , , (, , , ) . . All of this hotel chains are same. Small rest room, small bed room, small bathroom and no any special services. And the exhaust vent is very weak. Unfortunately, I have no chance to have breakfast for both days due to commitment. Here is closed to Chiba JR station and monorail station, it takes approx. 10 minutes by walk(slow walk). There are many bars, Izakaya(Japanese pub) and Japanese restaurant (Sushi, Sashimi) near the hotel. All bars and restaurant are seemed to be expensive than other place as this area is downtown. In view of accessibility to Narita Airport and south area of Chiba(such as Goi, Anegasaki, Sodegaura and Futtsu), the hotel is good. It takes approx 20min - 40 mins by train.
