  Fantastico

  El hotel es precioso, nos hemos alojado en un edificio anexo nuevo. Las habitaciones son impecables, nuevas, modernas, decoradas con muy buen gusto. La habitacion es muy amplia, la cama es fantastica. El silencio es absoluto, la zona es tranquila y muy agradable y esta a solo 10 minutos andando del centro. La relacion calidad-precio no puede ser mejor.

  Muy buen hotel en Hengelo

  Agradable y lindo hotel. Muy buena calidad de descanso con habitaciones amplias, limpias y muy silenciosas. Linda decoracion y muy buena recepcion. Muy buen desayuno. A mi esposo le prepararon y llevaron a la habitacion un desayuno el dia anterior porque tenia que trabajar muy temprano y no iba a alcanzar a desayunar en el mismo hotel y eso nos gusto mucho. Buena ubicacion para llegar al centro sin complicaciones. No podria opinar del restaurant pero al parecer es bueno porque siempre lo vi lleno aunque no es barato.

  Boutique on a Budget

  A beautiful, boutique hotel in a quiet residential area only a short walk from the town centre. The hotel has an interesting history as a former school, and on street parking isnt a problem as its a quiet area. We were welcomed at the front desk with friendly efficiency, and shown to our large, comfortable room overlooking the recently updated garden. All the staff were professional and helpful, answering an issue with access to the hotel WiFi in our room very swiftly. Although this problem wasnt resolved during our stay, we were able access WiFi in the rest of the hotel easily. Hegelo town centre has plenty of shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, and we ate al fresco at The Blue Angel, which we can highly recommend. All the restaurants in the area were bustling with activity with groups of locals and tourists cycling past every few minutes which kept us entertained with some good people watching, which seems to be the local pastime in that part of town. Breakfast was buffet style with continental or cooked items on offer and plenty to suit all tastes. I chose scrambled eggs with bacon and mushrooms, toast and jam with watermelon and a coffee; all freshly prepared and delicious. Would happily return to this hotel especially at the price we paid through Trip Adviser. Our only negative was lack of WiFi in our room, otherwise I would have given our stay 5 stars.

  Great food en nice room

  We had an excellent dinner in the Michelinstar restaurant. It was delicious and very tastful. Good wines accompanied the food. We had a room opposite the hotel on the ground floor, which was nice. Only "complaint" was that there were no windows to be opened during the night, I missed the fresh air. Therefor not slept as well as could have been. The bed was good en large. Wifi was available in the room as well as in the hotel Itself and we had no problems with it at all. Friendly and helpful staff, exactly as you aspect it. Because of my broken leg, I got an extra small table with cushion to put my leg on, without asking.... My compliments! Beware, for entering the hotel/restaurant you have to take a couple of stairs. No elevators as gaf as I could see.

  Hotel is nicely redone since the start of Corona, kitchen must do a better job for vegetarians

  Attracted by the 1 Michelin star we decided to stay at the hotel and consume a 6-course meal. My partner, a carnivore, had an excellent meal. Personally, a vegetarian for over 4 decades, did not enjoy the meal. While the menu is standard for everyone, you could indicate preferences but these were not really taken into account. While I had indicated Vegetarian with occasional fish, 4 out of the 6 dishes plus the amuse were fish, the remainder being an egg dish and sweet desert. What's worse, dish 3 was also served as main course dish 5, but as a double portion. Sorry, I definitely can't recommend the kitchen for vegetarians. The hotel is cozy and nicely decorated; the original early 20th century structure was maintained and upgraded with new and modern furniture and fixtures.
