  Twin Palms 1703 is for the Birds!!

  This was not our first time staying in 1703, we actually stayed there May 2018 and we choose this same unit again because the website stated beach chair rental and umbrella was included as it was in 2018. Nothing listed about it in our information sent to us by Vacation Rental Pros so I called 3 times and finally we were told that the owners of the condo did not sign agreement with beach chair rental agency but since it was listed on their website they would authorize 2 beach chairs and an umbrella " very comparable" to the ones on the beach. ( see attached photo) When we arrived the unit itself was worn but clean but we went to the balcony it was beyond nasty. ( see photo). The table was rusty and unable to eat off of and the lounger was covered in bird feces and feathers. Feces were on the surface area of the balcony. Unhealthy and uninhabitable. Website is using old photos. DO NOT use Vacation Rental Pros or stay in 1703 unless you are there to bird watch!

  Unit 1703 - Needs updating

  Its a convenient location. Parking wasnt bad. The walk to the beach was short (compared to other beachfront condos). The elevator lobbies from the parking decks were nicely decorated. They even have a little library of books you can borrow. Now, the actual unit we stayed in needs a LOT of help. The shower curtain in the main bathroom was totally moldy at the bottom. (Its a shower curtain for Petes sake, you can get them cheaply at Walmart so why cant you pop for a new one). All the white furniture was badly chipped, scratched and dinged up. The kitchen had a brand new but way too big fridge. There was no pantry or cabinet space for anything (other than the horribly old dishes and disgusting pots and pans) so if you stay more than a night or two and need groceries, you have no place to put them. There was a musty smell. It was cleaned but could really use a deep cleaning and bleaching. We only stayed for three nights as we were just there for a long weekend so it wasnt horrible and lets face it, youre at the beach so you just deal with it.

  Beautiful

  If you could just keep people from smoking it would be a much more enjoyable place to stay. All of the rooms are supposed to be non-smoking there are countless people smoking off of the balconies and no one is stopping them from doing it With that aside it is a beautiful location. The pool is nice but not large enough if youre here during a time where there is a large number of people. There is a hot tub and they are gas grills. I would not count on the gym as your source of exercise but there is a beautiful beach and very nice maintained sidewalks for walking Balconies are very large but you are directly looking beside the balconies of the building beside you but they are very large and dolphin every single day

  Twin palms unit 1705

  Booked for 2 weeks nothing but problems unit was very nasty could not take shoes off or feet where black. King bed in the master was broken had to fix temporarily so we could sleep, found credit card of another person all reported to property manager no response. Guest bedroom had King bed but only twin sheets. Furniture was original from when condo was built as so it looked. If you want to rent a good condo go 2 floors up to 1905 beautiful no comparison it is on bookthatcondo.com Twin palms is very nice just stay away from 1705.

  Twin Palms 1805

  Great layout and awesome views..... But the unit needs some attention...refrigerator is missing a handle, bed linens in the master were OLD and worn; bottom drawer of chest wouldn't open and top drawer handles kept falling off. The upholstered furniture in the living room is nasty and needs a long overdue steam cleaning, as well as the dining chairs whose covers were full of holes. Lounge chairs on the balcony were rusty, as is the cold air vent in the unit. Would I stay here again - probably but I would bring my own bed linens, and chair covers.
