  One of the challenging things is selecting accommodation on internet. Based on the reviews given I decided to go with Acasia Guest Lodge which was the pick of the week. Comfortable, spacious room, service excellence and superb food.

  Gem in Komatipoort

  I stayed at the Acasia Guest Lodge for 4 nights. The lodge is one street up from the Crocodile River and very close to the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger National Park. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely linen and towels. I slept well as the bed was very comfortable. It is so peaceful with lovely night sounds. The gardens are stunning with many birds. The owners, Anne-Marie and Jonty make one feel at home and nothing is too much trouble. We had delicious dinners. Great South African meals. Enjoyed a braai under the stars with good red wine and conversation. Had the best omelette ever for breakfast!! The staff are friendly, efficient with huge smiles. Really enjoyed my stay.

  The treatment from the owner is appalling

  I was very disappointed with the race lines I saw being displayed by the owner and her husband. Whites get preferential treatment and we were asked to dish up after all the white guests which was very uncalled for in my book hence I left the food

  Excellent

  We stumbled on Acasia Guest Lodge when searching for accommodation for our trip home from holiday in Mozambique. What a beautiful well run gem. Will hopefully be using Acasia for all our stays in Komatipoort in future. Thank you to Anna-Marie, her husband and their team for making our one night stay feel like part of the holiday.

  Great stay

  Anne-Marie was lovely and very accommodating, gardens are beautiful and dinner was delicious, beautifully set.. Great location, staff was very friendly, aircons in the main bedrooms helped with the heat and rooms were well equipped.
