EXCELLENCE ALL THE WAY.This hotel is a hidden gem, and not to be missed. As a lifetime Titanium Elite member of the Marriott family I can say this hotel is Excellent !!! We were lucky enough to have a corner suite with looked out over all of fountain hills (even seeing the world's tallest fountain hourly). Our room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. We highly recommend room 528. This review would not be complete if I did not mention Brian in guest services. Brian was delightful, caring and went above and beyond in order to extend my check out time. He is truly an asset to Marriott. The restaurant was great as well, the views are outstanding.

PerfectionI rarely write reviews of any type, but I feel compelled to let you know what a fabulous place Adero Scottsdale is! Im an interior designer and a very picky resort traveler and this place exceeded my expectations. The decor is upscale yet very inviting and the art is like walking through a gallery. The rooms are generous and chic and the bed was so comfortable. We got upgraded to a room looking at the four peaks and the view was incredible. Outside each elevator is a dispenser for flat and sparkling water. That made it so nice to fill up a water bottle for the day. The food was delicious. We ate at the resort restaurant one night for dinner and it was fabulous. We also had food at the pool and breakfast from their juice bar. Everything was outstanding. A big shout out to Ben at the pool. He was amazing and so friendly. We also had a drink one night to watch the sunset at their Sky Top area. Its a gorgeous part of the resort. We walked around the beautiful neighborhood that surrounds the property and also played tennis. The gym is fully loaded as well. We mostly went to sit by the pool and relax, but there are so many things you can do. All the staff seems so happy to work there! Ive stayed all over Scottsdale the last 20 years and I will definitely be back to Fountain Hills. Its a very quick Uber/Lift ride to any restaurants in Scottsdale but it feels secluded and special as you climb through the neighborhood and arrive at this very special property. I will definitely visit again!

Wonderful experience - can't wait to return!!It's only been 1 day since my fiance and I returned home from our trip to Scottsdale and I'm already rushing to write a review of the Adero! We had such a wonderful weekend at the resort. First, the hotel is incredibly gorgeous, from the front lobby, rooms, restaurant, pools, etc. It took my breath away. We loved relaxing by the adult pool and soaking in the incredible views. It really is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Adero is also very clean, with sanitizing stations everywhere. I felt very safe as the staff were abiding by CDC guidelines to keep us safe. I loved the location of the hotel, it is about 25 minutes to downtown Scottsdale, which I loved. It was nice being up in the mountains and away from all the downtown noise, but still easy to get there to go out to dinner or shop. There are so many amazing things about the Adero, but the employees really are the true gems of this place. From Ruben at the concierge to Brian at the front desk, everyone at the Adero made us feel like home. They are true assets to the hotel and the Marriott brand. We are already planning our next trip to the Adero!

Steer clearPrior to booking we called the property to ensure the type of room we need to book for certain amenities. Upon arrival we were told that the type of room we booked does not have the amenities we requested, and were questioned if we actually called the hotel itself as if we were idiots or liars. No remedy was offered for the room error. We proceeded to ask for a complimentary 4pm check out due to our flight being later, in line with our marriott tier. We were told to call the night before checking out when ask. When called the night before we were told to call the morning of, and the morning of were told that the manager will have to decide shortly. We did eventually get the approval but it was just not worth the hassle. No shortage of available rooms either so it's just lack of planning and hoping to sell more rooms. By the time we got to our room we were ready to just start having fun but we were overly optimistic. The carpets were dirty and filled with all time favorites like penuts, pretzels and cheetos- maybe it was just free snacks? The manager responded to our request to change rooms immediately and was kind to wave our resort fee but by that point we were already not in a good place with the experience which made our first day at the hotel pretty bad. Upon check out we had to remind the front desk that we had bought a package that included certain discounts to not get charged so please keep an eye. They won't automatically do it! (Not a big surprise there). Several other notes: the rooms are pretty basic and the hotel grounds are clean but absolutely nothing of luxury. Very similar rooms to a Courtyard marriott for x4 times the price. The location isn't technically in scottsdale and ride share availability is spotty as well as food delivery options. There is only one restaurant on property and we found it to be reasonably priced and good quality of food and service! (Shoutout to Oscar the #1 server). The pool service is mostly good but at one point we were told they weren't doing it and then a couple minute later someone else came and said they were doing it so it was pretty awkward. The health bar menu was small and still missed several key items required to make the menu items but they do offer tennis racquets and balls for free use which was nice. The court is well maintained and had great view. Overall not a good experience and if you're hoping to get the best peace of mind money can buy this is not the place for it. If you're okay paying in excess for some breathtaking views at a basic hotel then this is the place. The manager is kind and aware of our post so hopefully things improve.

The Best View, a Great Staff, and It Can Get BetterOh, what a view! Its the first thing youll think of when you visit. Just wow. Stunning. This new Marriott property is already top notch, even thought theyre still working out the kinks. In a COVID-19 world, they found a way to engage, connect, and create meaningful relationships. We stayed for a week, and by the end, we knew everyone and they knew us. Special shout-out to Jimmy, the mixologist at Sky Top. He makes a great drink and makes even better conversation. Also, Marchex, one of the staff / severs at Sky Top - was friendly, speedy, and offered great suggestions. The rooms are great, with a shower to die for. The pools are top shelf, as are the rest of the grounds. There really isnt anything not to like. I said kinks and let me be clear, the kinks are minor and things theyre going to figure out. For example, theyre still working out the staff to guest ratio. Sometimes drinks and food come out quickly, sometimes theres a delay. But, when theyre tardy, the service makes up for it. If 4.5 stars was an option, thats what Id give. We will be back. What an awesome stay!
