  The Best of Tuscany

  I have stayed at Bellavista with family and friends at least once a year each year since 1991. The beauty of Tuscany is not just the land, it is also the people. You won't find any one more kind or friendly than the family that owns and operates Bellavista. Chiara runs the office and will go out of her way to provide assistance and suggestions. Bellavista sits on the top of a hill overlooking the Arno Valley and the scenery is beautiful. This is the perfect base for exploring Tuscany by car or train. The local town (Incisa) is served by the train, but I find it better to drive to the next town (Figline) to catch the fast train to Florence or other locations. Arezzo, Cortona, Sienna and Chianti Classico are all easy (and beautiful) drives. There are many excellent restaurant choices close by. The apartments are clean and comfortable and the pool is beautifully situated. The local roads are safe for walking. If you are there in the fall, walk up to the local wine coop to watch the wine making--Chiara can give you directions. Be sure to try the Bellavista olive oil. If you would like to experience the Tuscan countryside but still be within an easy drive or train ride to Florence and other cities, then this is a great choice. A car is a must--it is a steep walk back from Incisa and there is no real public transportation. Bellavista is a slice of heaven.

  Our apartments were lovely and equipped with very nice typical forniture... the pool and games' room are GREAT ! MY friends , my family and I had a great time at Bellavista and are going to reserve again for our next trip to Tuscany ! See you again

  A comfortable farm in Tuscany

  Thank you Bellavista and Chiara for a pleasant home in Tuscany. The area is very welcoming. The apartment was true to description although a simpler and aged than we expected. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and the apartment was quiet and relaxing. The pool was lovely and in better weather I am sure would have been quite pleasant. We enjoyed the use of the game room for family time. The kitchen and table settings were a bit sparse but we still enjoyed cooking most of our meals using the local food and produce. A car is a necessity but driving in the area is one of the treats of the Tuscany area. The night sky and sunsets were lovely. We even watched a bit of wildlife around the cabin at night. Chiara was very helpful in securing tickets in Florence and helping us with travel arrangements. Overall, we enjoyed being at Bellavista and felt like we had a true taste of more rustic Italy.

  Nice Location, Great swimming pool and views.

  Rooms are as described, our room had limited outside space but this was highlighted before we went. The apartment was OK The pool area is really fantastic clean with lovely views across the valley. The area is rural and pretty you need a car as there are no restaurants nearby. The property is 20 mins from Florence we went there most evenings. Our stay was only marred by party of teenagers staying at the property who were very niosy, and kept us up for a few nights. This was just unlucky I guess and the owners did apologise a tried to deal with the issues.

  Great experience!

  Very nice and charming agriturismo in Tuscany. Located on the top of a hill with an amazing view over olive trees and Chianti vineyards. Cosy and familiar atmosphere in a gorgeusand natural surrounding. The room was large, cleaned everyday with a balcony. Beds were comfortable with fresh linins. The breakfast was superbe. They only serve fresh food with a big choice of local variety. The cost is reasonable and last but not the least staff was kind, courteous and professional.
