  El mejor lugar para las mejores vacaciones. Genial.

  Estuvimos durante 10 días con nuestras dos hijas en junio en la Casa Terrazza. Todo fantástico, tanto la casa como su entorno. Desde allí tienes la Toscana a tus pies. La casa muy acogedora; la piscina, estupenda y la barbacoa el mejor cierre para cada día. El emplazamiento de La Gioconda, te permite desplazarte fácilmente por toda la zona (Florencia,Pisa, Lucca, Siena....). Todo mejorado por la amabilidad de Eva y Lorenzo y la simpatía de Beppe.

  Perfect tuscan holiday

  We stayed at "Agriturismo la Gioconda" for one week summer holiday. First of all the amazing panoramic view, situated in olive and winefields, is just breathtaking. You can see from Empoli to the apuan alps, the sunsets are idyllic and you can enjoy them perfectly while enjoying your dinner. The room (Camera panorama) was clean and offers a comfortable bed (also additional blanket and pillows), a big cuboard, a commode, a fridge, a TV, an american coffee machine and tableware for two persons. The bathroom offers a toilet, a sink, a bidet and a shower (which might be a little narrow for big persons). The room is equipped with aircondition and a ceiling fan. You will definetly need that in italian summer! The view out of the window (covered with a fly screen) into the tuscan landscape is just beautiful. If you don't want to cook by yourself or expect luxury, the room is just perfect. Little lovely details complete the atmosphere. You can also find enough supermarkets and restaurants in the surroundings. The pool area is the most beautiful water place we have seen yet. The water was always clean, the sun loungers are comfortable, there are pretty plants, sunshades and again, awesome panoramic view. The big terrain offers a variety of typical tuscan plants and flowers, especially the old olive trees give the typical charming ambience. All over the place there are numerous cosy little places to sit and eat, several barbeques and a free wifi area in front of the main house. The entrances to the appartments are spread all over the place, so the privacy is mantained perfectly. You can park your car directly on the parking area situated below the main house. There is also the possibility to wash your colthes in a public washing machine and there are trash cans around to put in your rubbish. The geografic situation of La Gioconda is perfect for trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and all the charming little cities. Vinci is also a very nice place and offers a lot of tourist attractions about Leonardo da Vinci (also bad weather alternatives). Finally the kind and helpful owners Eva & Lorenzo need to be mentioned. They really care for their guests and their location. We could ask anything and experienced perfect advice, service and authenticity.. Eva even helped us to look for a place to stay for two more days. We felt welcome anytime! Next time we will surely try the service of breakfast. We are really looking forward to return to La Gioconda for the next time! Grazie mille per questo soggiorno stupendo e alla prossima!   Watta place!

  We had an amazing time here! A lovely spot hidden between vineyards and olive fields. The Agriturismo is really close to Leonardo's native house and to Vinci city centre. Definitelly recommended for a relaxing break.

  Everything OK, Tuscany style rooms, outstanding panorama, a lot of terraces for everyone, well kept swimming pool, close to Vinci = tiny typical village in the middle of the olive trees fields, enough far from big cities but not too far to reach main locations such as Pisa / Firenze / Lucca / Moncatini terme ...

  Fantastic views from the terraced areas.

  We had a two bedroom family villa which was very clean and well stocked with crockery , towels etc.. . Could have done with some tea bags for your first brew when you arrive. Exceptional views from the terraced area. Nice looking pool area but we did not use the pool as it was very cold. Nice play area for our granddaughter but most toys are a bit tired and broken. Friendly cats like to play. Great areas to just sit and chill. Great host who is very helpful. Recommended place to stay near Vinci
