  Una pena, en la calle con este Hotel en Bergamo

  Pagamos el 10% de la reserva, (que habíamos hecho un mes antes) llegamos allí y la habitación estaba ocupada. Llamamos y una señora que no hablaba inglés ni español, nos envío a otro albergue mucho más alejado ( al lado de la autovía, un ruido tremendo )- Casa Nadia se llama y más barato (aunque nos cobró lo mismo), un apaño que tenía con el otro apartamento ya que nosotros sólo reservamos un día, dice que nos avisó por teléfono (mentira porque nos enseñó un num de teléfono español y nosotros vivimos en irlanda. Una verguenza como está este tema en Italia, debería controlarse.

  Cosy and "romantic" in a way..

  we stayed here for one night before flying to the next resort, and it was ok for that. I wouldn´t stay longer than ne or two night, it was all right for us. But we had one problem, which was the heating. it was really cold because of the gaps on the windows. It was ok for me to sleep with two blankets (and close to each other..), but I was afraid if we are going to be sick afterwards, the temperature outside was about +5 at night. This was good accommodation if you are travelling early in the morning, because the owner called us airport shuttle (taxi) which picked us up at 5 a.m and costed only 5 /each. there was possibility to do it yourself breakfast, which we did. The place was about the same if you imagine yourself to accommodate at your friends flat. If it it worth to mention, the owner did not speak English, but he indeed send us text message before arriving and asking what time we will be there, which was great service.

  I wouldn't bother

  We were very disappointed with the standard of this B & B. The location is very convenient for the bus and train station and the sheets and bathrooms were clean but other than that it doesn't have much to recommend it. It's an old fashioned appartment which is untidy and needs money spending on it. The overall impression was shabby with peeling paint and stained tablecloths. There was plenty of choice for the DIY breakfast, but nothing that I actually wanted to eat. It doesn't represent good value for money so my advice would be to look elsewhere!

  A quick bite

  When we came down from Bergamo Alto we wanted a lite bite, Found this place on the main road, it was just right for what we wanted the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed everything that was served including a good British brew

  BEWARE: Complete Scam! Don't Book: Waste of Time, Money & Energy

  Nothing advertised was true: 1) Impossible to pay in American Express whereas I booked that B&B for that reason mainly. The Landlord is not equipped at all. He fakes a call to one of his friend/colleague, and thn says the machine is broken. I had to pay in cash when I had a stric amount of cash for the duration of my stay. I had to withdraw again later, which costed me extra bank fees. 2) Impossible to Check In: we had to call a local mobile phone number which ended up costing me a lot from my cell phone, and wait an extra 30min in front of the B&B for the guy to come. 3) False Address: the guy actually took us at an another distant location by car, much further than the one advertised. 4) Horrible night of sleep: we got awaken at 3.30am by some late party people who were drinking in front of the pubs, yelling and laughing out loud until 6am, showing zero respect for the neighborhood. 5) Horrible smell of fresh paint in the room who gave both of us headaches and feeling like throwing up. We had to open the window and deal with the busy roads making a lot of noises, along with the cold outside -no need to say that the room was not warmed at all. We were freezing. 6) Breakfast was disgusting: made of low quality, discount brands articles, and a very poor choice. No microwave. SUM UP: DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU FEEL LIKE WASTING TIME, MONEY & ENERGY.
