  nice location, easy communication

  My family recently stayed in this hotel, clear and comfortable room, one single bed + one double bed room type fits great for 3 person in one room. The hotel location is very good, downtown in the center, Lotte duty free shop is only 3-5minutes walk, 15minutes walk to E-mart and several convenience shops around. Behind hotel there are many local restaurant, you can just choose which has more guest and local korean. Staff at the front desk speaks both Korea and Chinese. Hotel has own travel agency, I booked a car and guide from hotel, I will say this is a wise choise, and our family really enjoyed a wonderful trip in Jeju, we had visited many attractions and avoid the crowd, We will be back soon.

  Nightmare at Jeju

  We booked 2 family rooms for 3 nights in this hotel and our nightmare started once we check-in. When we entered the rooms, the carpet is horrible. There are a lot of stains on the carpet which looks like someone vomited on it. Even though we wore shoes, we really don't want to stand on it. Also, one of the rooms we had is exactly the same one on the website. However, the pictures are totally fake or may be taken ages ago. Most of the furniture in the room are worn. When we asked to change the rooms, the duty manager said that we have already checked in for 15 minutes, so they cannot change the room for us as they could not resell the room due to the housekeepers were off already. It is unbelievable and ridiculous! They marked the check-in time when we went to the counter. After completing all the check-in procedures and going to the rooms, we actually stayed in the rooms less than 5 minutes. Even if we stayed more than 15 minutes, it is not an excuse to refuse to change the room for hygienic reasons as this is hotel's responsibility to provide a safe and hygienic room. They charge hotel price but providing motel or even backpacker services! Finally, after bargaining for a long time, the duty manager only agreed to change 1 room for us. That night, my parents complained the circulation in the room is so bad, they couldn't sleep well as they felt like can't breathe. Furthermore, some of the towels provided are worn and with stains and holes. In the morning, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. However, the options are so limited. It is not worth at all to pay extra to have their breakfast because you may only have toast, boiled eggs or congee with MSG.

  Decent Hotel for the price and location

  Hotel room is nice and spacious. We booked the triple bed rooms and were impressed to notice one of the beds was a double bed. Internet was fast as well. Included breakfast was not the best but proximity to local shops and food meant this was not an issue. TV played the world cup so that was a bonus as well! Toilet is a Japanese style electronic toilet however one in my group was electrocuted by it :/ However overall it was a decent hotel

  Jeju Island hotel

  Room's a bit small but good service, nice and clean building, good ambience. Good location, accessible to shops, restaurants and convenient stores. Receptionists speak good English and are very helpful.

  Old but renovated one with best value and location in Jeju city

  I choose Amber because of 3 things: first, it is located at Sammu-ro, a shopping road with beautiful environment and only 15 minutes from the airport. Second, Ambers rate is one of the cheapest among other hotels located on Sammu-ro. Third, I am obsessed with Japans bidet toilet and Amber hotel is one of the few who has it ( hotel Leo which is beside Amber hotel doesnt use bidet toilet) The twin room at Amber at 6th floor has two beds. One of the beds is much larger than the other one. For people who likes art, There are some nice unique statues put around lobby and each floor.
