  You HAVE to stay here!

  The wife and I stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and we weren't disappointed. The innkeeper was exceptional! She was so sweet and pleasant. We felt right at home. The breakfast in the morning was delightful and fresh. We had plans to go out on Saturday, but ended up spending the entire day in the room ordering delivery because it was comfortable. We will be coming back for sure!

  Third Stay

  This was our third visit. We often have to drive from DC to New York. We love to stop and do a little antique shopping in Adamstown. The inn is such a pleasant place to stay. Breakfast is lovely and Allie the owner couldn't be sweeter. You will not be disappointed!!

  Romantic weekend getaway

  Stayed at the Amethyst Inn for Valentines weekend with my hubby. The Inn is very charming, love the decor and cozy atmosphere. We stayed in the Cobalt suite and loved it. Large bathroom with awesome jacuzzi tub. It also has a sitting room which gives you even more space. Wed love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the private balcony attached to the suite. Also would love to enjoy the spacious front porch. Allie, the owner was wonderful, very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. You can tell she really cares about making sure you enjoy your stay. The breakfast was wonderful and the cook is very accommodating for special dietary needs. Food is very fresh and delicious. Great private location if you like antiquing in the area! Close to shops and restaurants.

  Lovely! Wonderful! Wow!

  We took a trip to Adamstown to celebrate our anniversary and do a little antique shopping. We decided to take a chance and stay at this inn instead of a big name hotel out on the main strip. What a great decision!! Allie is a terrific host. Her bed and breakfast is immaculately clean. (Always important but even more so during these Covid times.) She is such a friendly accommodating host! We booked very last minute and she could not have been more gracious. She brought us a slice of cheesecake when we checked in which was honestly, the best weve ever had! The house is gorgeous. We stayed in the Ruby room. Its huge! The fireplace was so cozy. We loved it. The large 2 person bath is beautiful. We didnt get to use it this trip But...if were ever back in the area we are DEFINITELY staying here again and will definitely use that tub! This a lovely bed and breakfast that is run so well. If youre thinking of staying here, you really, really should! PS. Forgot to mention the breakfast! Huge, delicious and served with such warmth and grace and friendliness. The Amethyst Inn is most certainly a true gem!!!

  Great place to stay after a day of antiquing!

  My daughter and I stayed here after a day of antiquing in Adamstown. The Inn is beautiful! The room was very clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the owner was so nice and helpful. We will definitely stay again!
