  Relaxed

  Stayed here for a wedding. The owner is laid back and friendly but runs a very efficient and clean establishment. The breakfast is really good and the whole place feels like a trendy country house. The breakfast girl is very sweet.

  Superb location above Merano

  Exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff, beautiful situation and very good restaurant. I thoroughly recommend. Great walking in the surround Dolomites plus the elegance of Bolzano for a day trip for lunch and shopping. 5h form MUC airport through the Breener Pass.

  A Christmas Cracker!!

  A comfortable room with a view to die for. Very pleasant communal area and bar tastefully decorated for Christmas. Staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel is up a steep hill on the outskirts of town which may not suit some people but it is surrounded by mountain views and fresh air and there are plenty of taxis. The food was amazing and the desserts delicious. A big thankyou to ALL the hard-working staff for a lovely Christmas. Merano is well worth a visit.

  Weekend away

  A great place to stay. The room was one of the better rooms I have stayed in Europe. The staff was incredible with advice for dinner and things to do. Plenty of parking. Within walking distance of downtown. A definite repeat if we come back to Merano.

  Overrated

  This hotel is very expensive for what you get. They offer free wifi but it's useless. Curtains and sofa in the room are dirty. The swimming pool is not clean neither are the tiles, tables and seats near the pool. My best advice : do not book here
