  Best holiday ever!!

  Very satisfied that we went there. Everything was excellent. The place is one of the best ever. If you appreciate nature,this is the place to be. Surrounded with mountains and a lake between them. It makes you feel like paradise. We experience on of the best nature observing,quite,peaceful,mind resting and feels like we experience how heaven is like, ever!! On this lake there is an interesting restored Medieval village which makes you feel that you are part of that age! The staff is most wonderful and welcomes you during the whole stay. We never seen a staff that friendly ever! It is a very quite place that makes your holiday one that you will never forget. From here I would like to thank the fantastic staff. I also would like to mention that the food was great every time and a very affordable price. Thank you and we will come back.

  Beautiful Place, food very average

  Ended up here after recommendations and after seeing pictures on the web. Have to say it is marvellous, so we decided to stay for lunch. It was 12:30 but they start serving lunch at 1pm, we've been informed by management, and they hardly gave us notice. After a brief walk around we sat down, it was 5 to 1, and so the wait continued. We finally got to order form a very limited and not so special menu, started made of a selection of salami, corn meal pudding with truffle and a barley salad with goat cheese ricotta, none of this had a unique taste. The freshly made pasta tasted as if were form a store and the sauces where bland and badly cooked. Got our coffe and left. Staff of three, probably a family, nothing to take notice. If you're about stop and take pictures, then continue your journey through this wonderful side of Italy.

  Wonderful experience!!!

  Found this online and decided to stay here on a whim. Cant explain how enjoyable and relaxing this was. What an amazing place. We were treated like familiar guests. They opened the restaurant for us and another couple. The food!!!! Wow! So good. Our room was comfortable and warm and had a great view. The price was very reasonable too. I would stay here again.

  Sobre ruta provincial 13 entre Castelnuovo Garfagnana y Massa dentro del parque regional de los apeninos apuanos se encuentra esta villa al lado de un embalse. En la zona hay una muy buena oferta gastronómica y los oaisajes son muy lindos

  Wow

  Antico Borgo was an old farm house. Today it is a beautiful home and function centre. The function room with it's large verandas and the fragrant plants that surround the garden. So much food again. They catered for a dairy allergy. Just beautiful.
