  Complejo familiar en una pinada junto al lago

  A medio camino entre un camping de mobile homes de lujo y un complejo hotelero de bungalows está en medio de una urbanización en una pinada a 5-10 min en bici del lago y a unos 25-35 de la playa (15 en coche). Es perfecto para ir con niños. El único pero es que las instalaciones comunes (tenis, ping pong...) están viejas, aunque bien cuidadas. Agradable en general con estancias muy muy amplias.

  Relaxing break.

  I stayed here with my partner, parents and 2 young sisters. It was ok, the cabin was basic with a double bed, bunk beds & a sofa bed. You are given sheets and towels when you arrive at reception and then have to make up the beds yourself. The pool was clean and cold which the children loved. I would suggest taking your own fan if you are traveling by car to this accommodation as they are not provided & it does get warm without one. The area is very pretty, with large trees around, it looks very Canadian. The location was great only a short drive to Lacanau Ocean which was beautiful.

  Excelentes cabañas

  Este lugar es un sueño. Aunque batallamos un poquito para encontrar la cabaña, ya que llegamos de noche, valió la pena. ¡Nos fascinó que estuviera en medio del bosque! La cabaña era muy espaciosa y cómoda y todo estaba muy limpio. Después de vacacionar por varios días en España, agradecimos el que la cabaña tuviera un 'colgador' para secar la ropa. Nos asomamos un día a la playa, la cual quedaba muy cerca del hotel y otro día fuimos a Burdeos (quedaba un poquito más lejos, pero no tanto).

  Quiet - but not much around!

  Stayed for a week at the end of July (family with two kids - 8 and 3). The apartment in the forest is a decent size, and I'd describe it as clean and tidy but basic. The beds were not comfortable - felt like I was sleeping on concrete - and the kitchen was missing some basics like mugs for hot drinks and a kettle. There is nothing to do on-site apart from the swimming pool (which itself was nice enough). There is not even a cafe or snack bar. There is a reception, but the staff did not take kindly to our youngest making noise and running about in there, we felt a little uneasy every time we went there with the children and were told on a couple of occasions to "shussshhh". In the area around the complex there is almost nothing to do if the weather isn't good. The nearby beaches (the nearest being Lacanau Ocean) are lovely and the lake is nice to walk around, but in Lacanau there is a supermarket (Super U - car park always very busy), a small bakery and a Pizza takeaway and little else of note. We found one restaurant in town - close to the lake. A very un-commercial place, which in many ways is nice, but you are a little reliant on the weather. If you like cycling it's paradise as the terrain is flat and the provision of cycleways adjacent the main roads is superb, you can cycle to Cap Ferret and even Bordeaux from Lacanau via the cycle tracks. A positive was that reception phoned us on the day of arrival to check we were on course to arrive before they close at 8.00pm, which was appreciated. There is a useful laundry room which came in handy as our boy wet the bed. WiFi is only available at the reception so many people huddle around there to check their e-mails and Facebook!

  Nice and calm place in the woods

  We stayed for two weeks from the last week of June to the first week of July. The Marina de Talaris in located into the woods that involve a calm place in leafy surroundings. The houses are scattered through 3 different location into the woods. The indivual houses have a good size (we were only two in the house that we had rent) and they are well equiped. For people who said there were some insects or others beasts, of course, you are in the middle of the woods (lol). For each aerea you have a pool close to the houses. From this place you can directly have an acces to cycle tracks to go to Lacanau or to Lacanau Océan.
